Ha Joon's pov

"Straykids are my mates?"

"What was that hyung?" I was brought out of my little bubble by Seungmin's voice.

"Huh?" I asked him, my mind still hazy.

"I thought you said something?" Seungmin asked me tilting his head in question.

Shit. Did I say that out loud?!

"Uh... um.. Yeah.. I was just saying that this was weird. You know something like this is unusual... you know?" I said, trying my best to keep myself from stuttering.

"I know you must be confused by all this, even we ourselves are confused hyung." Hyunjin said.

"We have to find them." Chan said suddenly.

"W-what do you mean find? Come on guys, you don't seriously believe that you have another mate, right?" I said, panic rising through my body at Chan's words.

"Ofc we do! What else does this mark signify then hyung!?" Jeongin said defending Chan.

"I don't know. It could be somethingg else. Right doctor?" I turned to Dr. Kim my eyes desperate.

I noticed how flustered Dr. Kim looked with both of us fighting and turning to him for defending our different opinions.

I saw him heaving a sigh before going back to his seat.

"First, I want you all to calm the fuck down and take a seat. My office is not your battlefield gentlemen. So sit at once and then we'll decide everything afterwards."

All of us stopped at once and got back to our seats as an angry Dr.Kim is never a good news.

"First of all, mate markings appearing all of a sudden is not a common occurrence. And yes, I said mate mark. This means ,I'm guessing, that straykids most probably has another mate. Usually mate marks appear when your mate presents. Like let's take Jeongin for example. It was when Jeongin presented that he received mate marks of all his mates, same with all of the rest of straykids members. When Jeongin presented you all received his mate mark in addition to all your other mate marks of your pack members who had already presented. Now as to why this mark has appeared now.....honestly I don't know. But I'm guessing Jeongin was 'triggered'. Usually this happens when your mate is presenting and nearby in the case of packs, but in this case you haven't been in contact with anyone outside. As far as you guys have mentioned the only people you guys were in contact are just your ususal JYP staff...." Dr.Kim said his eyes turning serious.

"So,you are saying that we indeed have a mate out there somewhere? Chan hyung is right! we have to find them." Jeongin said looking over at Chan in determination.

"Ha Joon hyung, we need your help. Together I'm sure we can convince JYP."
Han said hope evident in his voice.

I couldn't answer him. How was I going to help them find their mate when there's a 99% chance that I am their mate!? Like.... what would I do.. Go 'hey guys, surprise!! I'm your mate, I just realized it too'!? "

"Fine. Let's talk about this later. We are disturbing Dr. Kim from doing his work. Chan, why don't you take them all back to the room and pack up Jeongin's stuff so that we can return to the dorm soon? Jeongin needs to rest and it's more comfortable to discuss everything at home. Let me know once you have packed everything up." I said to Chan feeling defeated by their hopeful stare.

"Let you know? Aren't you coming with us hyung?" Minho asked curiously.

"Yes, after talking to Dr. Kim that is. I think I'm a little jet lagged and tired from the travel." I said turning to face Dr. Kim. "Is the offer for checking and giving me medicines that you mentioned earlier still up Dr. Kim?"
