It's been about 2 weeks since I've met Ms. Stephanie's kids. Meme and I been talking every day since. I've yet to really open up about anything to any of them cause all this is so new to me I've always only had me so having people around that care feels crazy.

"Bye baby I'll see you when you get out of school"

I bent down and kissed his cheeck and he did the same and kissed mine

"See you later mommy I love you" he smiled and waved

I watched as he entered the school with the rest of his class and I started to make my way back to my apartment. As I'm walking I got a phone call

"Hello"

"Hello Mrs.Morrison this is Lily Ms.Greys assistant I'm pleased to inform you that you've been selected for the project she's working on. I'll send you a address and a time for you to be there and we will go from there"

"Wow uh thank you so much"

"Thank you see you soon and congratulations " she spoke before handing up

I stood on the curb in shock that this is really happening for me. Since I had Kairo everything has been a struggle being a teen mom is literally the hardest thing ever but I'm managing and things are finally seeming to turn around for me. Lost in my thoughts I received a text it was Lily with the address date and time.

Continuing my walk home I was so happy just thinking about what I'm gonna to wear and how everything gonna go. Once I got home I was reminded with the eviction notice on my bed.
I went in my room and looked through the box I kept my money in for my bills. I know I had just enough to hold them off for two more weeks but when I looked it was gone.

I started to panic how could it be gone nobody comes to my apartment. Where could it be. Feeling a breeze I looked over and seen my bedroom window open. Why and who the hell would break into my apartment. I realized a while back I bit off more than I can chew with this apartment but I refuse to raise my son in a dangerous neighborhood that's why I work my ass off even if that means every penny goes to my son and bills

I ran down to my leasing office hoping maybe they can see something on the cameras.

"Hi Ms.Raven is there anyway you can look on the cameras and see if someone broke into my apartment my belongs are missing and my windows was open" I explained out of breath

"I'm sorry Ms.Morrison we aren't aloud to show camera footage unless you call the police and file a report"

Feeling defeated I left out the rental office and made my way to Ms. Stephanie house. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. When the door opened it was Meme

"Heyy bitch " She yelled bring me in for a hug

"Hey Meme"

"Meme cuss again" I heard Ms.Stephanie yell from inside

"My bad momma" she said walking back into the house with me closely behind

"Hey Ms. Stephanie " I greeted with a hug and a kiss on her cheek

"Please baby it's been 3 years we past the Ms stage call me Stephanie Momma something "

"Okay" was the only thing I could say because I've never thought I would be so close to people so genuine and not even related to me. Hell my own family don't bother to even see if myself or my son is good.

"So did you hear any news yet" she asked turning her attention to me

"News about what" meme asked

"Zoemi had the biggest casting lady stop her on the street and asked her to audition for this project she working on"
