Soon they reached the house, and Jeongguk was the first one to get down, as he was quite tired he just wanted to go and sleep off. But as soon as he opened the door, he was welcomed by everyone screaming in joy.

"WELCOME BACK HOME, JEONGGUK!" Confetti and balloon bursting was heard. The ravenette was surprised, he felt happy to finally come home and be welcomed like that.

He saw Yashi, Dawoon, and Sandy in one corner, and on the other side were Jackson and Wang family. He felt his heart flutter, Jackson and his family were there, meaning that his Cub was also there. It had been two long years since he heard from or saw his Angel. He wondered how the younger male might be.

Soon he was pulled into a hug by all of them one by one. They all expressed how they all missed the male and in return, the ravenette reciprocated the same. Finally, they all settled down. Everyone was talking about this and that and whatnot. But the eyes of the ravenette were searching for a certain someone.

"Taehyung didn't come?" At last, Jeongguk could not hold himself and ask.

"No, he didn't. He had some important work to handle." The reply was enough to crush Jeongguk's already broken heart. He felt his inner self mocking him.

'What did you expect? The person who asked you to leave his life will come to meet you? You are indeed a stupid, Gguk.' He scolded himself and soon excused himself saying he got to rest. But suddenly, the lights went off, making everyone shocked.

Jeongguk was confused, but soon he heard a familiar and soothing voice making him immediately realize who it belonged to.

"Jeon Jeongguk, did I ever tell you how much my heart beats thinking about you? How much my ears yearned for your voice? How much my eyes cried to see you? How much did my cheeks, nose, and forehead suffer for your kisses? How much I craved to be in your arms? Did I ever tell you all this?" The ravenette turned around almost immediately and there he saw the person he was yearning to see the whole time. There stood Taehyung with a spotlight on him and with roses and cotton candies in each hand.

Jeongguk could feel his heart would come out of his chest anytime judging the way it was beating so fast. He did not understand why the younger was saying all that to him in front of his parents, husband, and in-laws.

"Do you know how much of a stupid and stone-hearted I was to demand something that like from you? Do you know how much I regretted all my deeds? But you know, nothing would be justified enough for the pain I gave you. I am very sorry for everything, Hyungie.

"Please, forgive your Angel. Please, return your Cub his Ggukie Hyungie. Please, take your Angel in your arms and keep him away from all harms like always. Please, allow this Kim Taehyung to express his love for his Jeon Jeongguk and give him the privilege to get promoted from your baby angel to your lovely husband. So, Jeon Jeongguk, are you willing to become my Hubby from my Hyungie? Will you marry me and give me your last name?"

Taehyung, finally, expressed his feelings which he suppressed for a long time to the love of his life. He was kneeling in front of the ravenette with the roses and cotton candies, waiting for the older male's response.

Jeongguk was conflicted. He did not know should be happy or feel betrayed. Of course, he was happy to hear the younger's confession. But he also felt betrayed, if the younger loved him, he could have accepted his love that day itself rather than all the drama and marriage. Coming to think of marriage, then he felt more confused. The younger was married, right? Then why would play with his feelings like that? That too in front of everyone. Jeongguk forgot all the feelings and all were replaced with anger and nothing else.

"Do you think it's fun to play with emotions, huh? To make fun of my love in front of everyone? Huh, Taehyung? What do you think of yourself? First, you never gave a proper answer to my confession, then you insulted my love and asked me to go away from your life, and now, when you are married you are proposing to me to marry you? That too in front of your husband? What the hell do you think you are doing, huh?!" The ravenette could not help but yell out. Were he and his emotions a joke to everyone?

"Husband? Whose husband? Which husband?" Taehyung asked confusedly.

"Your husband, Jackson. Who else?!" Jeongguk replied.

"Oh hello, why would my husband be his husband, huh? Wang Jackson is only Wang Sandy's, you moron!" Sandy growled at the ravenette who looked at him as if he grew some horns on his head. He looked at everyone to find out any hunch of a joke or lies in that. But to his dismay, he found none.

Jeongguk and readers both looked at the author to clear their confusion. Well, to understand the entire situation of Taehyung's side story, we got to take a small rewind to the night when Jeongguk confessed.

After Taehyung returned home, he was in a dilemma. He could not believe his Hyungie loved him too. Yes, Kim Taehyung was in love with his best friend too. He always felt that it was normal in friendship to behave like that for one another but over the years, he realized that it was no longer a platonic love, but a romantic one.

He did find Jeongguk's gestures towards him as a lover too. But he thought it was forbidden for him. He called and saw the ravenette as a Hyung, and having romantic and sexual feelings for a Hyung figure was a sin to him. Thus, he suppressed his feelings for the older. It was also a reason why he agreed to the marriage without any second thought. The earlier he would get married, the easier it would be for him to focus on someone else and move on.

However, everything seemed to fall apart when Jeongguk came and confessed his feelings. How would he control himself? All these years he pretended to not know anything, but since the ravenette also loved him the same way, it would be impossible for him to restrict his feelings. Thinking about all the mess that formed, Taehyung sat down on his bed.

"Why? Why? WHY?! Why Hyungie had to confess now only? Why did he not do it before? What would I do now?! ARGH?!" Taehyung internally screamed, he did not know how to come out of the mess.

"You are dumb, Tae. Just go and ask your dad. He for sure would know how to decline the Wangs. Just go do it." Taehyung heard his reflection in the mirror saying that.

"But, what if he disagrees?" The brunette pointed out.

"He won't. He loves you more than anything. He would surely understand. This is your chance, Tae. Now when you know that Ggukiebun loves you too, you shouldn't back away. Go and get our man!" His reflection encouraged him.

The brunette thought calmly for a good couple of minutes. And he decided that it was not today then never. He loved and wanted the ravenette only as his life partner. Thus, he marched toward his parents' room to say his thing. However, reaching there, he got to know a different thing; which made him completely change his decision. He heard:

"Once this marriage occurs peacefully. Then, I would thank Mr. Wang in a good way for the business deal. If it was not for him then I don't know what I would have done. Due to him, we got our company back and also our TaeTae's marriage as well. I would be grateful to him forever." Dawoon was expressing his views to his wife.

Taehyung, hearing all that, did not even think to go and ask about his thing. The marriage was very important for his father. He could not be selfish and ruin his father's work for his feelings. Thus, he decided that he would not call off the marriage and would also make sure that no one else tried the same. No, he was not worried about Jeongguk doing anything, he trusted his bunny more than anything else. He was sure the ravenette would never do any cheap things.

That night he cried to sleep, thinking why the one our heart wanted could never be in our fate. Why was life so unfair to everyone? As he was crying and thinking, he heard his room's door opening. He stayed quiet and pretended to sleep once he realized it was Jeongguk, and soon he could feel his heart clenched badly hearing the ravenette.

Taehyung wanted to wake up and just scream out, "No, Hyungie, you did nothing wrong in expressing your feelings. You are my love as well. I want to be in your arms for eternity. Don't blame yourself. I love you more than love, Hyungie." He wanted to say all that but he just could not. If only Jeongguk waited for a few more minutes, he would have surely seen the brunette break into heart-wrenching sobs.
