Warrior cats: frecklewish sadness

Chapter 5

Frecklewish watched from a tree she was laying down by looking at her clan some of her clan members had gotten greencough and were in the Medicine cat's den. It had gotten bad they had to ask some of the clan's Medicine cats for help one had agreed and said that other clans might need help too. Frecklewish looked at the Windclan Medicine cat who was helping Thunderclan camp along with their own camp. She had heard from some of the Windclan cats that Larkwing was the oldest medicine cat who had started at only 4 moons and had seen it all in her life. It had gotten Frecklewish wondering what it was like for Larkwing. Frecklewish soon headed paw steps and look to see it was Pinelight with herbs in her tail " you got herbs in your tail Pinelight." Frecklewish said as she look at Pinelight

Pinelight turned to look at her tail and sighed " oh I've been helping get herbs only to be told there are some in my fur." Pinelight said in an angry voice as she sit down by frecklewish to get the herbs out.

Frecklewish saw as she looked back " so any news?" Frecklewish asked.

" well turned out that Mothsky is excepting kits," Pinelight said.

Frecklewish head turned back to Pinelight " what during this time with greencough" Frecklewish asked.

"Yep my mom Petalfur will be helping her if anything happens and don't think other she-cats have had kits during greencough," Pinelight said as she lick her paw.

Frecklewish look down as she put her head on her paws " how is your sister doing?" Frecklewish asks.

Pinelight was silent " I haven't been talking with her lately we've sorta been drifting apart and might have had an argument," Pinelight said.

"Oh, why that?" Frecklewish asks.

"Well mom had told us about our dad and well my sister wants to be Leader and me her Deputy but I don't want that why she ask me why I said I wanted to stay as a Warrior, have kits of my own, and grow old I don't want to live till I lose 9 live plush it be lonely knowing when Leader everyone you know will die before you," Pinelight said

Frecklewish was silent a bit she hadn't thought of that and wondered what her father thought of being a leader but she got out of that thought and sit up and licks Pinelight's head. Soon night came  and frecklewish was walking to her moss bedding when she saw Mapleshade and walked to her " if you want you can have my moss bedding if you want." Frecklewish said.

"No thanks, I'm fine, " Mapleshade said as she lay down and closes her eyes.

Frecklewish nodded and walk to her bedding and lay down only to look around some moss bedding where empty because of the cats in the Medicine den and sighed hoping they would be ok. Frecklewish closed her eyes and waited for sleep to come as it did.

The days had come and gone as if time had gone fast. Mothsky kits were to come in 2 moons. Thrushpaw and Deerdpaw were during their final appearance assessment and then they be Warriors. Frecklewish had looked at her father who was sharing a rabbit with Sweetbriar. Frecklewish had gotten to know Sweetbriar more and had learned about her life and sorta got a friendship with her. Frecklewish soon looked for Mapleshade but didn't find her in camp and soon left camp thinking she was hunting but when she walked she heard voices. Frecklewish looked to see her brother and Pinelight talking and walked to them " hey you two" Frecklewish said.

Birchface looked and smiled seeing his sister " hey Frecklewish what up" Birchface said

" Nothing much but have you guys seen Mapleshade?" Frecklewish ask

Pinelight look as she looked away as if she was thinking. Birchface looked at frecklewish " well we don't know but I think she hunting " Birchface said

Frecklewish nodded as she, Pinelight and Birchface talked and walk back to camp where they saw Mapleshade they walk to her added her to the talk, and walked back to camp. Frecklewish soon look to see that Pinelight had a look and was confused why. Once at camp, Frecklewish stopped Pinelight " you ok you had a look on your face and I got confused?" Frecklewish asks.

" I don't think my sister was hurting but then again maybe it was hard for her because of the weather but I'm starting to not trust my sister," Pinlight said as she soon walked away

Soon Thrushpaw and Deerdpaw came back and passed their Apprentice's assessment and were given their warrior names. Frecklewish was graded for the two as she yelled with her clan the new Warriors Thrushtalon and Deerdapple. Night had come and Frecklewish walk to the Warrior's den when she look back to see the two new warrior's on their night watch and smiled a bit as she soon was in her moss bedding and fell asleep.
