The sound of trains in the middle of the night echoed through her ears as she sat there, watching the train's movements.
She waited until it's 12 pm, waiting for the perfect midnight number, to end it all.
She loves the sound of trains, rain, and the feeling when the rain hits the scarred skin of hers. Before it's the time she wants, she recalled her memories about the best anime, where she found her husbundo and her waifu. Demon Slayer, or Kimetsu No Yaiba.
The best of all, for her at least. The storyline, the characters, the pain, the sadness, the anger, the ticklish feeling from every scene make her forgot about all her problems, herself and her lies.
00:00, such beautiful number combination. The time has come, the time she waited...
...for so long.
She stepped on the railways, listened to the sound of the train, waited for the impact...
...and woke up
at a whole new place,
a snowy forest.

Eyes widening, she screamed, "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK-"
She knew where she was, she knew this snowy forest all too well. It's the same scene from the first episode of Demon Slayer. A snowy day, where the smell of certain metallic liquid hit Tanjiro's nose.
Ehhh.. I should stop all these dramatic choose of words-
This is okay, but what's not okay was that, the Urokodaki Sakonji was standing in front of her. She just emerged from a pile of snow, in front of the most kind character; in her opinion; like some sort of zombie.
"What are you doing laying in a pile of snow here, kid?" Urokodaki asked her, completely clueless about her weird way of clothing.
"Huh, I can understand you? Wha..."
Still in shock, Aya stared at the gentle old man. 'Why is he here? Wait, the best thing I could think about right now is that I'm in Demon Slayer and why is he so blurry- HUH MY GLASSES' (My name is Aya ;-;)
"UHH HAHH I CAN'T FIND MY GLASSES!" Grabbing her head, Aya turned around to find her round glasses that's nowhere to be seen. Seems like she needs to stay alive without her glasses. She knew it's Urokodaki because of the red blurry thing that have a long nose.
"Hmm? Your glasses? I don't see any... Oh. There it is." Urokodaki went to take her glasses and gave it to the owner.
"Thank you! You're my life savior, Uro-...! Uhmm mister...?"
'Shit! I almost slipped my tongue. If I did, I'd be fucked up!'
"I'm Urokodaki Sakonji. Say, young girl, why are you out here with such little clothing in a cold whether?" His suspicion rised, what a weird clothing. She didn't cover her legs but her upper body was in a warm looking clothes. (It's shorts and hoodie lol I like baggy hoodies and shorts even though I can't wear shorts)
"Uhh... Well, I'm... I got kicked out... My mom was mad at me... I got lost and here I am. After I slipped on snow." It was all a total lie. Aya ran away from her home to kill herself. Why would she tell Urokodaki that? She knew he know that she lied. His smell-sense is awesome, not a good idea to lie but what can she do?
"Sigh... It's not good to lie, kid. Just tell me the truth. I won't say anything." Urokodaki don't know why she lied but there must be a reason. Trust issues were this generation's problem lately. (Just me trynna make sense lol)
There's no lies nor truth in life, we never know what hides behind. Each truth were blinded with lies, why try to make sense? It's all not important now...
"It's nothing. I'm just tired and decided to take a dive through life and go to the next stage. But here I am, in a pile of snow instead..."
It's not a truth or a lie. It's just two sentence that tells the story of hers.
Urokodaki can trust her or just don't ever trust her like how she did to herself. Never trust on her ability. Never trust her own emotions. Just try to fake all of it.
"Come on kid... Let's get you all warmed up." Said Urokodaki as he walked away and waited for her to follow him. He didn't hear any movement behind him, turned around seeing the girl still unmoved. Sighing, he trudged to her and crouched. Putting a hand on her head, he could feel her tremble.
"Come on... Let's go give you warm food and some blankets. You'll catch a cold if you stay here."
Urokodaki can smell the sadness and sorrow from her. She truly is tired but never show it to anyone who knows her, or more like knew... Only him know about her in this world.... But she knew almost everyone.
The warm hand still on her head, she nodded slowly and stood up. "I'm sorry..."
She don't know why she apologize. Aya just let her mouth said it. She never apologize after she lied, so why now?
"It's okay... Everything is going to be alright."
Really..?

Aya was now in a pile of blankets as she snuggled up. She always love warmth but usually, only for awhile. Now, all the blankets were on the floor except for one that she cover herself, head to toe.
Urokodaki was sat across from her and was cooking some okayu. (Okayu is Japanese porridge made with rice and water or broth.)
Beautiful smell and warmth entered Aya's nose.
She felt really warm only by looking at how gentle Urokodaki stirred the soup. Only if she knew that not everyone hate her.
"Stop staring if you want to eat."
Getting out of her trance, she looked at Urokodaki and sat next to him. Now that she think of it, what timeline was it? Is it after Tanjiro and Nezuko left? There's no trace of them after all.
"Urokodaki-san, do you have children? Or maybe adopted some?"
Urokodaki stopped putting okayu in bowls and looked at her.
"I have, but they all died because of demons. I took care of two other kids but they're in the Demon Slayer Corps now. Maybe on mission..." Urokodaki trailed off and continued putting okayu. He gave her one of the bowls and make her ate.
'Welp, it means... Between Tanjiro's first mission...'
