Emmerett it's fine..really" fox said with a sad smile. Emmerett held the revival book with a shaky hand. " I can't revive just one!" He exclaimed. Fox stepped forward and shifted into foxet. Foxet rested a hand on his cheek, a faint smile across her face. There was visible sadness in her eyes, which was odd for the shadow. " I've- we've seen a lot of life emmerett" she graced his hand with his lacing their fingers together. " You're brother, he hasn't. He's still young. He deserves a life" she explained. Emmerett was stubborn. He wished for both. " There has to be a way I can save you both!" He blurted flipping through the pages of his book. Foxet rested her free hand on the top of the book stopping him from flipping the pages. " Emmerett." She said, her voice stern. " I am your mother. You do as I say" she said tears threatened the corners of her eyes. She quickly blinked them away to be sure emmerett didn't catch a glimpse of them. Emmerett looked up at his mother with hope in his eyes. " I can do it, you just have to believe in me! This once!" He pleaded. " Emmerett!" Foxet interrupted. " Make the right decision." Emmerett looked confused in his mother's eyes. " Right decision?" He muttered. Foxet nodded. " Revive your brother. He has better chances than I could ever have
" emmerett gripped foxets hands tears began to slide down his cheeks. Foxet pressed her head against her son's and let out the tears that stung her eyes. " We'll meet again, in the afterlife, '' she mumbled. Emmerett sniffled. " Promise you'll come back before then?" Emmerett pleaded. " I can't make promises. But..I'll try.. I promise..I'll try"
" We need to speed this up emmerett" said nova in the background. Emmerett took a deep breath preparing himself. He separated his hands from his mother's and lifted the revive book. " Thank you. For giving me a real family member." Emmerett said. Foxet weakly smiled at him. " Of course." She said as she faded away.
