[❄️]

Jisung watched his finally-boyfriend stuff his round cheeks with a spoonful of carrot cake. It was their first date. He had been completely head over heels for his hyung since he could remember. Changbin was an amazing person. On top of his looks, he was smart and hard-working. Jisung loved everything about him.

The day his hyung said 'yes' to him was the best day of his life. He wanted to make every moment memorable and cherish it till his last breath. He couldn't imagine his life without Changbin.

Watching him happily stuffing his mouth with the piece of dessert, Jisung thought that he wanted to make him his husband someday. As cliché and cheesy as it sounded, Changbin was his soulmate; his forever love. Jisung sighed dreamily. He was, oh, so in love with Seo Changbin.

“Did I get frosting on my face?” stopping abruptly, the older asked confused. Jisung blinked in surprise and smiled sheepishly. He had been caught. Oops.

“No, no! I was just,” he paused, scratching his neck in embarrassment, “thinking about how beautiful you are and how lucky I am you've agreed to be my boyfriend.”

Changbin put down his teaspoon coughing in abashment. His cheeks turned bright red and hot. Suddenly too shy, he couldn't utter a word.

“Are you all right, hyung?” alarmed, the younger jolted up and sat down next to his boyfriend, patting his back gently.

Changbin reached for a glass of water and took a sip of it hoping it would help him calm down. Jisung was so caring and affectionate that he wanted to hide under his dwaekki-patterned blanket and scream into his pillow like a teenager in love.

When he met the younger's concerned eyes, he cleared his throat shyly and nodded. “I'm fine now.”

“Thank goodness,” Jisung let out the breath he was unconsciously holding in and relaxed but never withdrew his hand from the older's back.

Again, his eyes fixed on his beautiful face. Sometimes he would wonder if his hyung was an angel who had come to earth to make it a better place for the people he met.

Changbin looked at him with a blush spread across his adorable face. His eyes shone with tenderness. It was their little moment. Their surroundings turned into an audio-visual blur.

“I love you,” Jisung finally whispered, breaking the spell. If Changbin could melt right there and then, he definitely would. Murmuring shyly he loved him too, the older hid his redder-than- Santa's-suit face in the junction of the younger's shoulder and neck.

Jisung chuckled and tapped his arm. “Hyung, look outside.”

The older lifted his burning face and peeked at the busy street outside the café. It was snowing for the first time that Winter. His eyes widened in excitement. With a child's joy, he turned to Jisung smiling and pointing at the twirling snowflakes. Jisung smiled back and, bringing him closer to his chest, kissed his forehead.

Many more winters awaited the couple.

Since it's Winter again, I'm back with the Christmas-ish one-shots. The next (and last) one will be binchan. ♡
