Monthly Check Up

" So it's been a month since your car wreck . How are you feeling? " My doctor asked

" Way better. " I said

" Well, we still have to do a Pap smear. So change into this and then we will check on the baby. Do you wanna know the sex of it? " he asked looking at me

" Yes" I said smiling

" No " Leo said in sync with me.

I looked up at him confused.

" Well, y'all have a little bit of time to think about it. Have you felt any pains? " he asked me

" No. Just spotting a bit " I said

" You never told me that " Leo said looking at me

" Well, spotting is normal as long as it isn't heavy. " he said looking at me

" No " I said

" Well, you get changed and I'll be right back " he said walking out

Leo charged in my face " So are you just going too kept that kind of stuff from me?! " He said through clinched teeth

" I didn't want anyone too worry! " I said taking off my sweats and then panties

" How do you think I feel now! " he said as he rolled his eyes at me and walked to the side of the bed and sat down

The doctor came in and we both were quiet.

He lifted my legs on the resters and pulled his tools by him

He done what he had to do w was uncomfortable.

I got dressed and then we checked on the baby

" So do you want to know the sex or no? " He asked looking at us

I looked at Leo " It's fine " he said looking at me

My face lit up with excitement.

I began crying and I didn't even know why. I haven't even seen the part

He looked for it and zoomed in

" There it is! " he said pointing to it

I looked and then looked at the doctor

" A boy?! " I said smiling

" Yep, A boy " he said as he printed off a 3D picture of the his face and then regular ultrasound pictures.

" Aww! " I said smiling as I looked at Leo who was also pretty happy. He was smiling

" Here, you go " Doc said handing me my pictures.

" So am I able to go move around more ? " I asked

" No " Leo said before the doctor

" Well, I mean. I don't want you to over do it. You still need more time to heal mentally and physically. So I'm going to go with no for now but we will see next month " He said looking at me.

I closed my eyes, trying not to show how frustrated I was

I got up and wiped the gel off my belly and grabbed my crutches and began walking out. ..

" It's best if you stay home! " Leo said walking up to me

" For you, or me?!. Cause I'm not happy at home. I can't do shit!" I said looking at him as I walked to the car

" You can start putting the baby room together " he said looking at me

I didn't say anything cause he had a valet point.

" Do you wanna go to the store and buy some stuff for the room? " He said looking at me

" Yeah " I said trying to hide my excitement

We drove to wal mart first, just too see if they had some outfits we liked and they did.

I smiled as I walked around picking up clothes holding them to my belly as Leo said yes to everything I picked up which made things alot easier for the both of us.

" Coach!! " I heard some girls screaming

I looked around too see a group of girls running towards me "Careful " I said as they all hugged me.

I smiled at them " It's good too see y'all! " I said as I hugged them back

" Are you and the baby okay?! " they asked rubbing my belly

" Yeah, we're fine! " I said smiling

" Did you get the stuff we sent to your house "

" Yeah, thanks for making me gain weight!. How are y'all doing in Playoffs ?" I asked looking at them

" We are out, but at least summer is in a couple of weeks "

" Im sorry to hear that. But thank you Sweet girls " I said

" It was great seeing you coach! "

" Y'all too! " I said as I waved at them as they walked away.

" Did you want to get anything else? " he asked looking at me..

" No, this is the only thing I like. We can go buy the rest later, I'm tired " I said as I gave him the clothes.

We checked out and got something to eat and than went home.

I sat on the couch as I ate my food.

" He's moving! " I yelled at Leo who was in the kitchen fixing him some ice cream

I heard footsteps and then felt the couch sink in .

He put his hand on my belly.

Nothing.

I pushed at my stomach

.nothing

" Well, he was moving " I said drinking my drink

" Hey kid, you better move for your father! " Leo said as he talked into my belly

I giggled as I put my hand around my belly and started rubbing it " Stubborn " I said
