So tomorrow's spirit week at my school.
It's basically a school week long event where all the students show their spirit by doing or wearing something the staff wants.
That's why I'm getting ready for it.
Because if there's games, friends, crushes, food, and not to mention dressing up like a middle schooler in the 90s, (Yes, the 90s is my favorite decade,) you know I'm going.
Crap, I didn't introduce myself. What's up, I'm Henry Myer. I'm 13, in middle school, And a little too chill for most people. I got a cool and snazzy best friend and a kind and pretty crush. I'm very lucky to be an only child, because I don't want to walk in a bathroom with an unflushed toilet by a little sister. (My cool and snazzy best friend Dan McLaughlin had this happen to him not too long ago)
Anyways, let's get back to the plot on spirit week.
So the school is mostly going to have events like outdoor day, dress-up-not-like-a-2020s-decade-guy day, and all that kinda stuff. It's gonna be cool but Allen Lures is going to be there. You never heard of him and you should be glad. He is in 9th grade but got held back twice, and is 6,1. He mostly comes after me when school's done. He does this type of pinch where he grabs your arm and twists it hard. I pray he does not run into me during the week.
I also gotta tell you about my best friend, Dan McLaughlin. He is the same age as me, wears expensive clothing like Supreme and all that sort of stuff, and is really outgoing. I know you might be saying, "Henry, you said he's snazzy, I thought he would wear stuff like tuxes or suits." Well, it's 2022 and people have different tastes of attire nowadays. Plus, he wears glasses and him wearing a suit would make him look like a geek. But he isn't. He goes downtown, has an iPhone, and has an average grade of B-. But anyways we are good friends and hang out and talk a lot.
So spirit week is going to be a mix of emotions and I hope everything goes well. And yes, a lot can happen in a week.
