Five and a half more hours later, the final bell rings. I wish I could stay after school. But I knew what I needed to do.
I pick up my backpack. And head out into the hallway. There's Dan going, "You coming over after school?" He asks.
I lied, "Sorry, I needed to help out after school, I'll still make it to McDonald's though."
He understood, thank goodness. I go down the stairs, and head over to my locker. I pound on it. It opens and I put my stuff away. After that, I drag myself outside to the basketball court. When I was on my way there, my mind was going a thousand miles per hour. What's going to happen to me? Are we just gonna talk it out? Do I escape the situation? I didn't want to know what would happen in the next few minutes.
I step outside the back door, where the court is. When I stepped over there, there were two other high schoolers and Allen in the middle. When he spotted me he said, "May want to get over here." He said to me. I stepped over to them. I'm about eight feet away from them so they wouldn't grab me faster.
"You risked having me a black eye, now you're gonna get it, you little-" Then he shouted a load of naughty words at me.
"Do you regret what you did to my buddy?" One of them said to me.
At that point, I was way too intimidated by those three. I said no because I guess I wanted to act tough so I can survive easier.
"Try again." Allen said.
"No. Don't you speak English or something? How about we can talk this out?" I said.
Allen reached his boiling point. "We know what to do," he said. "Let's get him." They started to jog towards me.
I can't let them do this, I have to flee!
I turned around and took off fast. I didn't know where I was going, but somewhere to escape them. I heard one of them saying behind me, "You get back here!" Like that's ever going to happen. I ran about forty feet then I spotted a forest. I didn't want to get lost, so I looked behind me, and there were the three of them, rage in their eyes. So I went into the crowded forest. I ran for a few minutes, in a circle trying to escape them, all dizzy and nauseous from all the running. I heard heavy footsteps right behind me, that's when I spotted a thirty foot tall tree.
Do I climb? Yes!
I jumped on the tree, and started to climb it like a bear.
I can't do this! I'm gonna faint!
I got up about halfway up and sat on an overhanging branch. They all stopped and tried to grab my feet, also cursing me out.
"Get down here!"
"You aren't gonna be up there forever!"
"If you don't get down, I'll make you myself!"
I decided to wait them out.

A half hour later, I looked down. They were not there anymore. I stretched my arms, and started to get down.
Wait, what if they're still here, but somewhere else?
I go back up, and sit back down. I threw up from the stress and exhaustion.
Great, now I feel sick.
I looked over the area, and there were the three, on the school brick wall and on their phones. This is the perfect opportunity to go home. Despite the two mile run. I prepare myself to go, take deep breaths, and get down. I army crawled out of the forest, which took forever, but it was worth not getting spotted. When I got up, I checked my surroundings, and ran back home. I dared myself to not look back.

I got back home at 4:45 PM. Luckily, my parents weren't home because they both were at work. When I put my stuff away, and got the money ready for the McDonald's feast, I laid on my bed. I take deep breaths for about five minutes. Thank goodness it's the weekend.
Spirit Week is over.
I couldn't believe I made it out alive through Monday morning to the past hour and a half. I prayed for my thankfulness. I have no idea how I went through the pain of hurting Allen on Blue Monday, confessing to Madison Sherman on Twos-day on Tuesday, meeting Dan's little sister, Jenny, on Worthy Wednesday, winning the most nostalgic outfit contest on Throwback Thursday yesterday, and almost getting beat up by Randy, Allen, and his two friends today on Freaky Friday. It was a freaky day if I'm being honest.
I decided to start the feast early. I called up Dan to tell him about it.
"How about we start the feast now?" I said to him.
"Oh, you bet! I was actually getting really hungry."
"Great. Wait, before you hang up, do you know Madison's number? I gotta call her if she wants to come."
He tells me the number, and I say thanks and bye. I dial her number on my phone, heart pounding, then I put my phone up to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Madison, it's me, Henry. I got your number from Dan."
"Henry, Hi! What are you calling for?" She said excitedly.
"I was wondering if you can come to McDonald's with me and Dan. Don't bring money, because it's on me for all of us."
"Sure! Thank you so much!"
"Yeah, no problem." I say calmly. We both said goodbye to each other, and I hung up. I get the money, then wrote down a note for my parents saying I was going to McDonald's. After that, I go outside and get my bike. Then I started going over to the McDonald's downtown.

We all met up at McDonald's. Me, Dan, and Madison were hungry and excited for the feast. We go in and get in line.
"Remember, the feast is on me, so order what you guys want." I say.
After the guy in front of us finished taking his order, we were ready to take ours. We walk up to the man behind the counter.
"Welcome to McDonald's, what can I get for you?" He asked.
I took my usual order; a QPC with a large order of fries, and a medium Coke.
"I'll get the ten piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium order of fries, and a small Sprite." Madison said.
"I'll get a Big Mac, extra lettuce and sauce, two medium fries, a large chocolate shake, and a large Dr. Pepper." Dan said. I gave him a really confused look about his appetite.
The total ended up to be about $45. I give him the $50 bill then gives me the $5 back. He then told us our number and he'd give us the order at our table.
"Let's have a window seat, I like those," Madison said. "The view of the city seems nice."
Me and Dan agreed. It actually does look nice out in a city in the late afternoon at 5 PM.
We took our seats. I decided to talk about the week. "It's been a crazy Spirit Week, hasn't it?"
"Are you kidding?" Dan said. "It was crazy and wild! To you and Madison, to you almost getting beat by Randy!"
"It was crazy," Madison agrees. "I didn't know he had a crush on me, also!"
"Same here, Madison. I was too nervous to tell you, but that lie detector made it obvious." I said.
She laughed that one off.
"Hey, Dan." She said.
"Yeah?"
"May wanna look at this," She said.
She turned to me, smiled at me once again, and gave me another peck, believe it or not. But it wasn't on the cheek, it was on the place where I would be pecking her. I immediately blushed.
She laughed again, and then came our food. We got our dinners, and dug in while some modern music played over the speakers. For some reason, the food and music made me super chill. I'm always chill, but this made me even more calm. I'm pretty lucky to be myself, y'know. To have a snazzy, cool, (and not to mention outgoing) best friend, to a kind and pretty crush now girlfriend. It feels good to be yourself, no matter who you are. If you're always happy, chill, calm, strange, carefree, or something like that, you will always find at least one friend because of that. And if that doesn't work like how me and my best friend became that way, just remember that opposites attract, if you're different to someone else, you still might be friends. Even if you're calm and the other one is outgoing. If I were you, I'd remember this life saying, because it can get really useful down the road. I always think of this. And one more thing, even if times seem hard, you're the one who changes it, not the world.

The End.
