Dream had held George close the whole night. He didn't care about the sweater anymore. He just cared about Dream. He had always denied his feelings about liking Dream, but he's finally starting to accept it.
He still wanted to talk to Sapnap, though.
George could feel Dream remove himself from the couch. From the ongoing, obvious cuddling. Sapnap had went to his room to sleep last night.
As George and Dream made breakfast, laughing together, they heard Sapnap enter the kitchen.
"Sapnap, can I talk to you? Seriously?" George didn't wait for an answer, and he quickly grabbed Sapnap's arm, pulling him back into the room.
"What's... Up?" Sapnap questioned, rubbing his eyes.
It was obvious he was still very tired, but George didn't care. This was serious.
George gently closed the door, leaning on it to make sure Dream wasn't eavesdropping.
"I know that what you did was a dare. You know how I feel about Dream, why would you toy with my feelings like that?"
Sapnap quickly snapped into realization.
"It was just a dare, c'mon. It was funny-"
"Not to me." George snapped, interrupting Sapnap.
It was like George knew every word Sapnap was going to say.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think-"
"No, you definitely weren't thinking. Maybe that's the problem. You never think-"
"Can I talk!?" Sapnap protested back, quickly shutting up George.
"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't think you would feel this way. Dream was talking to me. He said he slightly wanted to give you the sweater even without the dare."
Dream wanted to give him the sweater just because? This wasn't adding up. George thought Dream liked somebody else?
George really needed to let it go. He sighed.
"Alright." George could tell Sapnap looked offended.
He really shouldn't have interrupted Sapnap and said all of those things.
"I'm sorry. For yelling at you and interrupting you. I've just been stressed. I want to tell him how I feel but I don't know if I'm ready."
Sapnap knew Dream liked George. Like how he knew George liked Dream.
"Well he's been making so many moves on you."
"I don't know." George sighed again.
"Alright, we need to meet Dream back in the kitchen. He's probably so confused why we are taking so long."
Dream quickly ran from the side of the door, heading back to his position in the kitchen before George and Sapnap left.
Did he just hear what he think he did? George liked him back? Or was he just misunderstood? He needed to do something, right? Would George do something? What if he didn't? What if the boys just remained friends? That wasn't good enough for Dream. He had to do something. Maybe even before George does something.
He heard a bit more talking, but he decided to remain where he was, knowing they would probably be out any second. He pretended to do the dishes. He hated doing the dishes, though.
"George, wait. He was literally cuddling you last night. I don't do that with Alex- Quackity." Sapnap remembered George was bad with names.
"I do it with Karl, but that's because me and him are actually a couple. It's a couple thing to do. See what I'm getting at?"
