George was feeling a lot better now. He had packed for the few days he was staying at Dream's family's house.

Dream had also packed, after helping George of course. George insisted he didn't need help but Dream was stubborn, ready to do anything for George.

The car ride was long. Dream and George were staying at Dream's mother's house up near the pan handle of Florida, and with the Dream Team house being closer to the bottom of Florida, it would take a hot second to get to Dream's mom's house.

"Tomorrow is going to be so exhausting." George laid on the couch.

"You don't have to drive." Dream handed a plate of eggs and bacon to George.

"You sure?" George looked back up at Dream.

"Yeah. The drive is like- 6 and a half hour. I'll be fine, Georgie." Dream grinned, making George feel warm inside.

The way "Georgie" just slid off of Dream's tongue as if it was George's actual name.

Why did it make George so flustered? It was common for Dream to call him Georgie at this point, and usually George would be able to control himself when Dream would do things like that, but he couldn't help but just melt whenever things like that happened.

The boys ate breakfast, and since they really didn't know what to do today, they decided to stream together.

"Hey guys! Today me and Dream are just going to beat Minecraft together. That's it. We really had nothing planned."

"Yeah- I'll start getting wood." Dream's green, blocky character ran to a blocky tree, mining the wood with his hands.

It wasn't long before Dream had brought George wood, not even letting him mine it himself.

Dream's character dropped the wood blocks in front of George, George's character immediately picking it up.

"Oh- Thanks Dream!" George giggled, making a crafting table in-game while Dream went off to fetch more wood.

George started crafting a pickaxe and an axe after making sticks, making sure to make more for Dream.

The boys started getting materials, mining, and more. Finally, they were halfway through the game. It was getting late, and the game was taking longer than expected.

By the time it was 7pm, the boys were finally finished. They had finally defeated the Ender Dragon.

"Finally! I'm so exhausted." George groaned, rubbing his eyes and exiting the server.

"Alright guys, I'm ending stream, I'm so tired. Bye!" George waved at the camera before ending stream and sinking back into his chair.

"Ugh. I'm so tired. You coming to bed?" George waited for an answer.

Nothing.

George checked the Discord tab, realizing Dream had already left the VC. It wasn't before long George heard his door open, seeing Dream slowly walk towards George.

George could tell Dream was exhausted as well. Dream hugged George, holding him.

George led Dream to George's bed this time, as it was finally clean. It had clothes on it previously because George was still organizing his drawers ever since he moved in.

It didn't take long for George to be all over Dream.

Everything bad that had happened with George and Dream had just disappeared from George's mind. All his worries fading as he felt himself against Dream.

Even if Dream did know George did like him, it didn't matter.

George cuddled up near Dream.

"You're so cute." Dream chuckled.

"Shut up, my room is cold. I'm just trying to be warm."

Dream kissed George on the neck again.

"Stop." George chuckled, squirming.

"Sorry, are you okay with that?"

"Yeah, I don't mind. As long as it's you." Even though Dream couldn't see George's face, he knew he was blushing and grinning.

"I love you, George."

And at that moment, George said something he might have regretted.

"Do you mean that?" George felt his heart sink, remembering everything again.

Remembering Dream's crush.

"Was it all just a joke?" George moved away from Dream now.

"What are you talking about?"

"Everything. The almost kisses, the 'I love you's,' the holding hands. Did you mean it? Was it all just a joke?" Dream could see tears in George's eyes.

"You know I have feelings for you, Dream. Why do you choose to play with my feelings? So tell me, do you actually love me?"

Dream looked at George in astonishment. Was he serious?

"George..." Dream didn't know what to say.

Did he go too far?

"You said you had a crush." George felt himself slowly break with jealousy, feeling tears roll down his pale cheeks.

"George, I'm sorry..." Dream felt very guilty now.

"I'm sorry. I can't help but be jealous, Dream. I'm happy for you, but I wish I was your crush. I wish that sweater meant something. I wish the little things you would do to fluster me meant something." George got out of bed now.

"The fake kisses... Because why would you ever kiss me? Am I even as pretty as your crush? The way you described them... Even the sweater. That sweater really didn't mean anything did it? I know it's just stupid fabric but I really felt like I was special to you when you did that." George realized he was sharing too much, so he quickly left the room, heading to Dream's room where he was more comfortable sleeping anyway.

"George!" Dream got up.

Hearing George slam Dream's door shut hurt Dream so much.

If only George knew who Dream was really talking about. If only he knew that he was the crush, after all.
