With it being December it was bound to be a pretty stacked month for Marin. Tests at school did crank it up to high gear, but there was also making cosplay calendars for the fans going into the following year, and then of course, Christmas. There were so many ideas she had. Sexy Santa dresses, cute elf designs, and more. So hard to choose and yet so little time, money, and resources.

Though with her boyfriend being an up and coming photographer, that made sense for him to get things together. Less time searching for spots and what to work with. With his research, experience, and mind made for planning for, during, and after events. He had the cards laid out. With measurements readied from his notes he helped buy materials in bulk to sell to cosplayers and fabric artists of the sort.

Cam as he was called (Not his real name, just short for camera) decided to give Marin a call to see how things were going.

"Hey Blondie." He chuckled.

< Cam. Babe. Hi! How's it going? > She answered.

"Nothing too much. Yesterday I dropped off material to Gojo so he can get the Santa dress started. He should have it by tonight. I got a snowy backdrop at my Aunt's garage. We're ready as far as that regard. Do you need a Santa hat? Have the socks you wanted to pick out? Just seeing how you're doing."

< Aw. Thanks Honey. So you think we can shoot tomorrow and then catch up on Season 3? We're five episodes in and we haven't watched any. I'm going crazy. >

"And apparently a Christmas snow episode too for the fifth one. You know we need to watch that. And after our photos are done I got a clear schedule. Sound good?"

< Amazing! > She chimed.

"I agree. I'm going to check with Gojo and grab some lunch. I had a light breakfast. After all of this craziness will go down let's meet at my house to catch up on anime and have little Christmas. How does that sound?>

< And mine tomorrow? Hehe. Okay. >

"You know it. Bye Marin."

< Bye Babe. >

As the time went by it seemed that Gojo needed another day to everything together the way he wanted to. And since it was a school night for everyone, it was best to wait for the next day. No problem at all. Since there was so much time to kill, a little change in plans. She really wanted Cam to be over her house to chill and cuddle with her setup.

Cam ended up ringing the doorbell to his girlfriend's apartment and they had plenty of time to watch five episodes together. It was starting to grow dark when the two of them realized something special. It was snowing outside. There were about eight centimeters of snow on the ground. It was coming down at a good, rapid rate. Worst case Cam wasn't too far away. But that wasn't what he was thinking about. Marin gazed outside the window.

"Babe. You have your gear, right?"

"Just my camera. Flash is on it but I don't have anything else in my bag." He replied.

"Let's shoot in the snow!" She proposed. "I wanted to do this with you for weeks?"

"Play in the snow?" He pondered.

"You know how every girl dreams of being snowed in with her boyfriend? Well along with that is snowball fights, a photoshoot, and coco obviously. Of course binge watching and plates of curry go into it too."

"Well the dress is taking another day. What do you have in mind for the shoot?" Asked Cam.

"You're telling me if I put my hair in tails and put on a skirt and hoodie in the snow with some boots you can't find an angle?" She teased.

"I'll leave the room for you to get dressed and I'll set up the camera in the kitchen. Take your time. It's a Christmas miracle. We're getting snow here."

Cam chuckled. "It's been rain for the last few years. Love that we're getting snow again." He grabbed his bag and headed for the kitchen to get setup. Strike while the iron was hot. Before the plows come and ruin the scenery. Plus it could melt by tomorrow. Snow wasn't something to really prepare for. Snow is a weird aspect for mother nature.

When Cam got everything together and put new batteries in his lighting attachment, Marin was ready to go. A pink hoodie with a short, black skirt, and pink boots. Maybe not ready for snow, but maybe ready to shoot for a few minutes before putting on pajama pants and bundling under the covers.

"Cam, I'm ready. Think you can get a few poses before I switch into something warmer, go again, and then cuddles and curry?" She smiled with a pleading innocent face.

"Can't say no to that. Let's go."

Cam watched her bolt out of front door and into the snow. Jumping up and down. The inner kid inside of her bursting in excitement. My background is pretty nice, but I doubt I can duplicate this. This is the real deal. Look at her. How'd I get a hot and adorable girlfriend? A free photo session so I can learn. Wow. He thought as he walked Marin absolutely over the moon. In her happy place. Her being her.

"Cam do I look cute?" Asking with a smile ear to ear.

"Cute." He turned away with a smirk. "Stunning." Chuckling to see if he notices. "Melting the snow smoking hot." Turning back around. "Let's not turn you into an icicle Pinky."

She looked up at the night sky. "That my cheeks, my hair, or my nails?"

"All." He took a surprise quick pic. The flash went off and she was unprepared.

"Babe!"

"Gotcha, didn't I?" He teased. "Alright. First up. For real this time." Getting a better grip on the camera.

"How's this?" Marin was playing around with a cute pose. Hands on her cheeks in amazement at the environment.

"Gotcha Baby." And a quick snap.

One thing that got Cam to get popular with models with clients is not just Marin being an adorable bombshell, but how laid back he was. So laid back while having his A-game on the whole time. The guys wouldn't overthink and the ladies would be comfortable. Cam wasn't one of those slimeballs that every female model feared. Add the fact that he flipped materials from his Aunt's fabric shop and this was going to support him going to university in photography. One day hoping that this would be his day and night job. Everything from cosplays, to weddings, and every event and gathering in between.

"You're the best." Marin swooshed her hair and smiled for the camera again.

"We compliment each other is the best ways Baby. This ain't going away anytime soon." He agreed.

There were a few shots more and then the wind decided to pick right up. Not just under Marin's skirt but it made her freeze up really quick. With exposed legs she wasn't trying to be out for too too long. She started to shiver slightly and that was about it. A few more shots while trying her best and that was that. The cold she wanted to be in got to her a little quicker than she thought. A few gusts and a little snow on the bare legs will get her every time.

As the two went inside to begin cooking, she kissed him on the cheek. "I made cookies yesterday in Home Ec. They're in the pantry. After we eat we got a while. And maybe even snowed in." A little giggle. "Christmas is in the air early and so far its the best."

"I love you Marin."

"I love you too Babe. Now after curry maybe spice some things a little bit up?" She blew a kiss.

"Sugar and spice. Naughty and nice." A wink at her. "Your lead, not mind. And I accept."

The two of them laughed. Plans canceled was the best thing that happened to them all week. With just the two of them having the day to themselves. No work, homework done, and it looks like school and even those who have work are going to have a real rough time tomorrow. Because it will be a snowed in day. And what better to spend that time with than a lover? Merry Christmas indeed with a winter wonderland.
