Chapter 9 - Kurumi

I know some of these might be late, but I'm trying.

What do you give a former rich girl for Christmas?

There is no spoiler alert. If you did not read my Kurumi fan fic Time and Fate, don't worry.

It was that time of the year. Christmas trees, music, deliciousness around every corner,  and there were those shopping some celebrating early for the heck of it, and some being with good people that were close to them.  Including at Shido's house there were his sister, Reina, and the spirits in the living room. Natsumi just recently started being a guest to the house in her normal form. 

"Thanks for having me. This is the best holiday I have had in some time." Smile Natsumi.

"I agree." Nodded Miku. "Shido's feast, pretty and cute girls everywhere, and it's that time of the year. What could be better?" 

"Almost perfect." Shrugged (FN). This was Shido's cousin that had been living in Shido's house for the last few years. 

Reina finished serving plates. "If I were guess from you, its probably that girl you, isn't it?"

"It's not so much her being here, it's more so her being alone during gatherings like this. It's got to be lonely out there right? It's cold, wet, and everyone deserves a little nourishment right?" He pleaded his case to the table. 

"Do we have to work from the table and help?" Asked Kotori with a sigh.

"Well, if you're going to offer..."

"Grab an earpiece and a coat and please eat a little something before you go Big Cuz." Kotori didn't like that idea, but rather him try to go for it with help then no help at all. 

After a small plate (FN) made it swiftly downtown. He shouted out in an alleyway. "Kurumi! I need you!" He bundled up and was trying not to shiver. Even with a big coat on he was still cold. Closing his eyes and thinking if this was even going to work. Trying to find someone who could move through walls, buildings, earth, and everything else. "Hey Kotori? Reina?" He was talking into the earpiece. "Am I crazy. Finding someone who doesn't have a known residence? Shopping for her? Inviting her at the last possible minute? Am I all just crazy?"

< I think we are about to find out. > Said Reina in the earpiece.

"Hello Darling." Said a voice.

(FN) jumped. Turned around and there she was. "Kurumi!? Is it really you!?" He recognized the face, but not the long twin tails and Santa dress and long black socks. 

"You're not crazy Dear." She smiled. "But what are you doing out here? Aren't you cold?"

"I am. But I came to find you for a reason. I'd shiver if I had to for a few hours." He replied firmly.

"On Christmas you decide to freeze? And for what?" She puzzled.

"I want you to come back with me. Because you deserve a spot exactly where I was sitting too."

Kurumi was confused. "You really don't have to."

"But I wanted you to be there. Or me with you. Don't you get it Kurumi? I know that you have knowledge on all of us and what we do." (FN) turned to his side and took out his earpiece. Putting it in his pocket and continuing this conversation without advice from Reina or Kotori. This was going to be real.  "I don't care about the death count. I don't care about sealing your powers or not. But, what about you? Us? Isn't it worth just a little bit of something to get together and just be us away from all the drama and crisis just the two of us?"

"There's," She froze. Not expecting to have someone be real with her. There was no sugar coating or any benefit or one another. It was just genuine care. "Why do you, care for me so much?"

"Because you my Dear have a heart. Are you beautiful and just sexy in every way? Of course you are. You know that. I think we all do. And that's not knocking you. You are. You have a cute side to you. One I want to see more of."

"You have got to be insane." She walked towards him. There was a little giggle. "You are just so cute. It's innocent and firm. Confident and not letting the fear he beholds a lot of, prevent him from what it wants. Kind of, hot if I had to say."

He blushed. "Thanks..."

"Aw. Just look at you." Kurumi got closer and cuffed his chin. "Such an adorable face. I don't know. Not sure if you can handle me."

"I don't know anything beside of what I think is right." He closed his eyes and answered hesitantly. 

"Wonderful. What are we having?" She asked.

His eyes opened and she let go of her cuff. "Wait. Huh?"

"I asked Darling." Then proceeding to stand next to him and hold his hand. "What are we having?"

"Pot roast..." She was right. He definitely couldn't handle her.

"Sounds great. Lead the way." Kurumi accepted the invite.

How!?

It was a short walk to the house. And right as they got to the door there was everyone at the table making room for the two of them right next to one another. As for (FN) he was nervous. It was bringing a girl home for the first time and hoping the women in the house weren't going to judge or scare her off. How would it be from here?

"Hello everyone." Greeted Kurumi. 

"Welcome." Greeted Kotori.

"Thank you for taking care of (FN) Darling and dressing him in the cold like that. And more so, thank you for having me. And always thank you for caring for Darling all of you."

"What's Darling?" Shido was getting glared at my Tohka.

"Oh? Have I started trouble?" Teased Kurumi.

"Anyways, we are glad to have you here Kurumi. Is there anything we can do for you during the holiday or after tonight?"

"Time by the tree with him? Some fun?" Winking at Kotori.

"Sure..." She replied.

Nourishment was done and they were finishing with tea. It was a perfect time for the two of them to have a moment. As all the girls and Shido were going to observe. Kurumi was clinging to (FN)'s arm as they walked in the living room. He blushed and she thought it was cute.

"I've wanted something like this for some time. Even when I was a girl living that lavish lifestyle. This. Right here." She licked his cheek. "That cute boy caring for me." A cute little giggle. "Darling any chance I can borrow one of your hoodies for a moment?"

"Uh, sure. Shido?" He looked over his shoulder.

"Moment." He called as he went to his room quickly.

"Christmas wouldn't be what it is without you. And you are the first guy that genuinely made me feel amazing. You are so kind. My Christmas wish came true."

"It did?"

"Your touch. Your care. The way you make me warm and smile. All of it."

"I've fallen in love with you. I'm trying."

She kissed him. Kurumi started to glow. Releasing her lip lock she smiled. "And you succeed. You're amazing."

"Oh my God..." (FN) sighed in disbelief. 

Shido came into the living room and underhanded a balled up hoodie over to (FN). Then he put it over Kurumi to make it look like a short dress. Her clothing was about to disappear. Just in time too. She embraced him as the light settled.

"Ah. Smells just like you." She sighed in relief.

"Didn't think this would be the day." (FN) said softly.

"Merry Christmas Darling. I love you."

Sorry. Late due to work.  Since Christmas is over and I have been strapped with work, I will get back to this next season. Thank you all.
