(Recap: You run into a mutated zombie that had killed off all the zombies in the building. You barely make it out of that floor with your life when you hear a creepy voice in the distance. The sound ricocheted off the walls, reverberating through even your spine, chilling you to the core,
"Told ya we were going to find you~" )

On your way down to the lobby, you didn't detect any more threats. Maybe that one boss-level zombie was the only one of its kind in the building, but you never know how many of them are there outside. You glanced at the damage done to your suit. There was only one more layer of rubber sheet on one of your arms. the other one was a little torn, but overall, it was okay. The cricket pads on your thighs were ripped up too, blood tainting the rough edges of the tear. Your axe was not damaged at all, but the metal lids that you had taped up for a shield was missing, though. You couldn't go back up right now and risk running into that creepy voice that you'd heard, so all you could do is move forward.

You turned around the corner, down the last flight of stairs and caught glimpse of the sunlight let in by glass surrounding the elevator area of the lobby. In a crouched position, you stared through the crack of the metal doors, scanning for any zombies or the source of that dangerous voice that you heard earlier. You were just starting to loosen up when you thought a navy blue blur passed by the crack of the door. Your guard was back up now. you retreated a little into the darkness behind you, and gripped your axe tighter. Sweating now, you hoped that the thing you saw didn't see you as well. What the hell was that?

A shrill, cracked hiss pierced the silence you were sitting in, making you look up the stairwell you had just descended. Nothing was there. The only other place the sound could be coming from is the lobby. The next thing you knew, there was another one of those green burly things right in front of you- but this one looked less raw, and more cooked. It was barely stirring, trying to reach out to you in vain. The soft thuds of boots brought your attention back up again. You looked up to see a man, if that's what you could call him. He looked like he had bruise colored lizard skin sewn into his own. Black dye dripped down his neck along with his perspiration, revealing a little bit of the real colour of his hair. He hung his head low, and was shaking slightly, as if he was stifling a giggle. Once his head shot up, his arctic blue eyes met yours. Already feeling the hostility in him, you scooted further back onto the first step until you couldn't back off any further. Then, you scrambled up to your feet and ran.

Never had you covered eight flights of stairs as fast as you had today. 5 steps in advance to reaching your doorstep, you already had the key ready in your hands. No sooner than you reached the door, you stopped in your tracks.

"Hey, dolly."

The source of the voice you'd heard before was standing right behind you. The boots thudding against marble grew louder, until the same man you'd been running from, emerged from the stairwell. Grinning. You looked back and forth between the two people. The new one was the girl, a mere few feet away from where you were. She had dirty blond hair, which you suspected was much shinier under the thick layer of dust on it. She was holding a syringe like device, connected to what looked like oxygen tanks on her back. She eyed you with unusual ecstasy, ready to pierce any part of you at any moment. The male by the stairs outstretched his arm towards you, not in a friendly way. Blue flames rose out of his hand, coming at you. In defense, you assumed a crouched position as you instinctively let out a scream for help. But, you never felt the horrendous burn of fire.
"Now, Dabi. Don't get too carried away, Shiggy wouldn't like a burnt piece of meat at his feet." rasped a man.
You looked up to see a man covered in a grey and black suit from head to toe beside you, and a blob of mud in front of you.
Seeing your horrified expression, he let out a hearty laugh.
"I'm Twice," he helped you up, "we're here to talk."
As much as you wanted to believe that he was a harmless guy in a suit, this sentence is always said by every person in every spy movie just before they start beating the shit out of the guy they wanted to 'talk to'.
Dabi rolled his eyes but followed Twice's lead, "May we come in?" he motioned to the door and then the keys in your hand. if only you had any thoughts in your head, they would all say no to this request, but since you had been living with yourself for the past few months, you were overjoyed at the sight of anything close to human. So you let them in.

As soon as the door beeped open, Twice hurried inside and marveled at the interior as if he was a peasant who just entered a castle. He immediately grabbed the blondie by her arm and made himself comfortable on the couch in front of the TV. Dabi, on the other hand, leaned on the wall and looked at the duo as if they were uncultured. You settled down on the single seater beside them all and stared at Twice, indirectly asking him to get to the point. Twice, feeling your stare on him, sobered up. He cleared his throat once.
"We are from the League of Villains." He stopped abruptly, not knowing how to go on. Dabi took over for him.
"All for one."
A chill went down you spine, as a mysterious sense of fear overtook. You didn't know what that was, but something deep inside you told you, you did. This reaction of unease didn't go unnoticed.
"He has quite the grip on you, huh." Dabi smirked and pushed himself off the wall. He circled around your seat and whispered from behind. "Listen very carefully, doll, you know that we have no good intentions with you, but if your instinct is as good as my brother says it is, then you will comply and come back with us."
A cold sweat broke out.
The blonde on the couch, who was playing with her giant syringes got up and started approaching you.
"You're not capable of creating portals yet are you?" She gave you a sinister smile. "Let me try,"

You were once again, on the ground and the blonde was on top of you. driving her fat needle into you, retracting it and driving it in again, sending a twinge of pain through you each time. It took you a few minutes for your vision to clear up. There was a crystalline layer hovering just above your skin. Slowly cracking.

You tried to move, but you were immobilized by the thick layer of rubber and also the crystalline shield covering you. Your movement sent further shocks through the crystal, breaking it even more.  You figured that you couldn't stay here under the protection of your armor for long, so you decided to make a move.
The last blow struck by the female managed to crack the shield, sending crystals scattering in all directions. You rolled away just in time before she could stab you and got up to your feet. You grabbed your axe that was set up against the couch and rushed to fight Dabi first. You punched and kicked as much as you could, and remained in close proximity to him so that he couldn't use his large range powers. You couldn't continue this dance for much longer than two minutes, as Twice multiplied himself and came to Dabi's rescue. A hoard of Twices dogpiled upon you, blocking your field of vision. You aimlessly swung your axe, destroying as many of the duplicates as you could. Another Twice turned to mud when suddenly the syringe girl emerged from behind it, pushing you down under her weight as she stabbed the bare skin of your exposed neck region, trying to find an abundant source of blood. This time, the pain was far more than just a twinge. You concentrated on the center of your forehead, hoping to bring forth the same shield that you had made subconsciously before, but lack of practice and the amount of stress you were under forbade it. Your shrieks of pain grew quieter and quieter as you started to lose consciousness. Grappling to the last string of awareness you had, the only thing you saw was black, but you could still here the conversation around you. Although, the shrill screams sounded like faint voices to you.

"DAMMIT I CAN'T TOUCH HER!"
"TOGA, WHAT DID YOU DO?"

You wondered what was happening, as you felt surges throughout your body. Your head was throbbing and you were begging your eyes to open and this feeling of weakness to fade away.
You hoped that infliction of pain wasn't the only thing that triggered it.

Soon, you slipped out of consciousness and soon everything became quiet for a few moments.
It felt like you were floating in space.
The evanescent feeling soon dwindled. As the fog cleared up, the noise around you became clearer.
