The things mentioned in the title are placed in backwards correspondence to the actual sequence of things mentioned in this. All are separated by a skipped line. The author's note is mentioned first, then secondly the lore is placed, thirdly the description is written and lastly the explanation is at the end.

A/N: Hello! I mentioned before that I planned to rewrite this story, but I don’t want to get rid of the previous chapters in case anyone wants to know what it originally was meant to be. I am rewriting this simply because the main reason I made the previous story as it was, was because I had an idea and wanted to publish a book regarding that idea. I had motivation at that time but over time I stopped seeing ways that I could continue the plot of the story with the world along with the rules and restrictions that came with the setting of the story. I've decided to rewrite it into a story that gives me more freedom when it comes to what exactly I can do with the characters and what can happen. In the previous story there were large restrictions on what exactly the characters could do since they were in an enclosed area and there was no true villain aside from the mastermind and monokuma, which if the mastermind were to be killed then there would be no one controlling monokuma therefore there would be no killing game and they would all be released very easily.

 I want to add a wider range of villains to conduct the story in a more interesting way, more challenges for the main characters makes a story more Interesting, though I do not intend to make it a case where the main character/s always win every battle or challenge, I plan to make them at least lose a few. I find it very boring if in every battle or challenge a character is faced with, the good characters always win no matter what. I want to make it more fair, even if I may have the good characters win more times than the bad characters, there would at least be some battles or challenges the villains of the story would win in.

Lore + Description: Non-Despair Au. This is a world where humans take up most of the population but there are other existing species that have not gone extinct as yet. Humans have always had the larger population so these other creatures were considered as evil monsters or dangerous to society and thus were hunted down and captured before they were all left inside a building that was set to explode a bomb that had materials that could individually kill the rest of the species. When there were 5 minutes left on the ticking time bomb one of the different specieses was able to make an escape route with a few other species and escape quickly, they barely made it out before the rest of their kind were blown to smithereens. Even though it was a small amount, they were all humanoid beings that could take the form of humans or something similar to a human. The species included in this were Sirens, Banshees, Dragons and kitunes. Though their original forms still remained intact they had human forms they could change into to protect their identities. There was only one thought in their minds, escape, they had to escape from the area they resided and scattered across the world, trying their best to preserve their species before it resorted to them having to mate with humans just to keep their bloodlines running. Other species like mermaids, werewolves, mythical animals, etc Were all killed in the explosion, fear being the last thing they felt before death. Years passed by after the incident and humans regarded the story as a mere myth, since none of the humans in the past ever found out that four species had escaped, but they believed even if these creatures did exist that they were dangerous. In the beginning, there were over 1,000 different species excluding humans, so the humans never noticed the small amount that had vanished just before the explosion. In present time, the remaining creatures live in constant fear of being found out, as they know that the moment their identities are revealed humans would know some species escaped and would hunt them all down one way or another. -----------------------------------------
Kokichi is a descendant of one of the escaped species, he is a Siren, and some other characters of the Danganronpa cast may share the same species as him or may be the descendants of the other specieses that escaped. He, himself, is trying to survive in this cruel world where he and other species are viewed as pure evil simply because they have abilities that could be used with evil intent. Though there are some evil people that share a species with good people does not mean they are all evil, just that some are, though humans don't see it that way.
Dice is also full of different creatures but none of them are human. Also creatures are able to tell different species apart from humans easily. This is a non-despair au. What will happen when a certain liar comes across a human or..a set of humans that don't view other creatures as evil monsters but instead view them as equals who just have special abilities? What will happen when creatures of other species also meet this set of kind humans? What challenges will they face along this journey and how will they resolve these problems?
