Class ended for lunch and the class disbanded down the stairs.
"Hey, you still got a tooth ache?" Marinette asked Alya.
"Haha very funny." Alya said with a straight face.
"Need an ice pack?" Nino joined in and Alya elbowed
him.
"Hey isn't that Kagami?" Alya pointed to the doorway.
"Yea... why is she here?" Adrien looked at Kagami, who was walking in with a bodyguard.
"Where's Adrien?" She shouted.
"Uhm... Kagami?" The 4 of them walked up to her.
"Are you ready?" She asked him.
"Ready for what?" Alya looked at Adrien.
"I don't know... what are you talking about?" Adrien turned to Kagami.
"For our date." Kagami looked at him in the eyes.
"What? Kagami I have a girlfriend." Adrien was confused.
"That's not what you said last night." She didn't even break an expression.
"What is she talking about?" Marinette's voice was cracking and her eyes were glistening.
"I-I don't know."
"Of course you know, you asked me out last night." Kagami frowned.
"I-I have to go." Marinette ran off into the locker room and Alya was chasing after her.
"Wow, one day and you've already made her upset." Alya sneered.
"Not cool dude." Nino sighed and walked away.
"Can we go now?" Kagami asked him.
"You fucking bitch, i'll fence with someone else." Adrien turned and ran after Marinette.
Lila walked up to Kagami.
"Good job, you can leave now." She slipped her a 100 euro bill and walked away.
"Thank you Lila-San." Kagami bowed and walked away.
"Marinette?!" Adrien shouted as he ran into the locker room.
"She isn't feeling well." Alya side-stared him as she slammed her locker.
"What Kagami said, did she actually mean it?" Nino walked up to him.
"No, Kagami is just a friend." Adrien sighed.
"That's what you said with Marinette." Nino walked past him with Alya following.
"W-Wait..." Adrien tried to catch up to them but they'd already left.
"Adrien are you ok?" A voice came from the side of him.
"No." He looked at the ground.
"Why what happened?" Lila walked infront of him and lifted his chin up.
"Kagami pretended we had a date even though i'm with Marinette, or at least I think..." Adrien sighed.
"I'm so sorry." Lila smiled.
"It's fine, I just need to find Marinette." He rubbed his eyes.
Lila caught eye of Marinette turning the corner and grabbed Adrien's chin and kissed him.
"A-Adrien?" Marinette dropped her bag as Adrien pushed Lila away.
"To think I was actually going to forgive you." Marinette picked up her bag and ran out the door.
"What the hell Lila?" Adrien turned to her.
"Oops." Lila winked at him.
"You paid Kagami to do that didn't you?" Adrien stared at her.
"Maybe I did, there's no coming back from 2 side chicks now is there?" Lila got up and walked past him, he pushed open the doors and chased after Marinette. She was sat on a bench with Alya sat next to her, the rest of the girls surrounding her. He tried to walk up to her until
"Don't try it." Kim stood infront of him.
"Please just let me talk to her." Adrien stared at him dead in the eyes.
"No can do, Alya's orders." Kim crossed his arms.
"Please, Kim, I love her I can't just lose her." Adrien's eyes started to glisten.
"Let him through." A voice came from behind him.
"Are you sure?" Kim turned around.
"Just do it." Marinette wiped her tears as Kim moved aside and the crowd around her disbanded away to a different area of the school.
"Marinette, I swear they were fake, Lila paid Kagami off to say that..." Adrien's voice shook as he was trying to to break down.
"Do you have proof?" Marinette didn't look up at all.
"Yes..." Adrien pulled out his phone and searched through it.
"I believe Adrien, have you seen the way he acts around Marinette? It's like he does actually love her." Alya whispered to Nino.
"Me too, but there's a lot of evidence against him." Nino bit his lip in fear.
"Hopefully he has decent evidence." Alya crossed her fingers.
Adrien started to play an audio clip, Lila didn't know he was recording their conversation. Everything that was said was recorded as it slowly finished.
"I..." Marinette's breath shook.
"I'm sorry." Adrien looked back down.
"No, I'm sorry for not believing you." Marinette got up and threw her arms around him.
He hugged her back and Alya and Nino smiled while Lila frowned from behind them.
"He'll be mine one day." Lila sneered as she ran out of the school.
"Are we in the clear?" Alya and Nino walked up to them and Marinette nodded.
"I'm not quite finished with Lila though." Marinette smirked.
"What are you planning?" Alya was catching on.
"We're gonna need a friend in a high place." Marinette glanced at Chloe, who was busy bossing about Sabrina.
"I like where you're going." Alya laughed.
"It's nearly 3PM i'll walk Adrien back." Nino was looking at his phone.
"Ok, bye." Alya waved to him and Adrien kissed Marinette on the cheek and waved.
"You really think she'll listen?" Alya asked Marinette as they were walking towards her.
"Seeing as you helped her with her new boyfriend, maybe not me but she'll take your opinion on board." Marinette assured Alya.
"Chloe, can we borrow you?" Alya asked her.
"Yes sure, what is it?" Chloe followed them behind the stairs.
"Since we helped you, could you help us?" Marinette turned to Chloe.
"Depends, what is it." Chloe started to file her nails.
"We need Lila out." Marinette smirked.
"Woah woah woah, like a hitman?" Alya stared at Marinette.
"No, out of Paris." Marinette laughed.
"And why would I do that?"
"We helped you with your lover boy, plus, she hurt Adrien." Alya replied.
"I'm listening." Chloe smirked.
"Meet us at the Eiffel Tower at midnight, make sure you're unrecognisable." Marinette picked up her bag and walked out of the school with Alya following behind her.
"How are we going to do this?" Alya asked her.
"3 options, get her kicked out, make her parents leave or scare her out."
"I like the last option." Alya smiled.
"Me too." They high fived and disbanded down their streets.
