After regaining consciousness I started coughing; my body was trying to get the serum back in my lungs since I had issues breathing without it. I tried sitting up before matt stopped me saying “whoa hold up you need to rest.” without missing a beat I replied “sorry this is how we meet I know it is not really ideal to have their first meeting by saving them” I felt bad like i just lied to my mom bad.

Right after I heard her say that I responded with “oh no it’s fine, that was smart of you to leave instructions on your phone,” “yeah i have always had those typed up just in case i needed someone to come help, and thank you for coming so quickly.” “you're welcome, I didn't know that you lived so close,” I spoke as I made small talk with her. After a minute of comfortable silence, she had gotten up and asked “Sorry, would you guys like something to eat or drink,”
