Xiao POV

Hu tao is making it a little to obvious that she likes me and of course I like her too but why am I still scared to tell her? Maybe I should take her to a cafe today but since it's raining I have a plan to share an umbrella because it's romantic, right?

Once I walk to school I saw Hu tao waiting for me by the school entrance "Hiya, Xiao!"  she yelled while jumping up and hugging me.

"Get off of me." I brushed Hu tao off "not a hugging person?" She asked with a down sad face.

"Anyways I wanted to ask if you want to go to the cafe with me after school today" Hu Tao's smile became so bright it almost blinded me. "Yes! I-I would love to go with you!" She blushed and looked into my eyes. ———-

My POV 😘

Xiao and Hu tao walk peacefully down the halls talking to each other and Xiao laughing at her random jokes. Xiao couldn't stop feeling this feeling in his heart. It's like someone blessed it with love and joy. Even though he was a stubborn person, he had a soft spot for Hu tao but not all the time because sometimes he might make some jokes about her. Of course Hu tao knows it's a joke so it's fine!

"Hey Xiao?" Hu tao turned her head slightly to him as they walked

"Yes, Hu tao?"

"Why do you always hang out with me and not your other friends?"

Xiao sighed and looked at her. The only reason why he doesn't talk to other people is because he knew that they wouldn't like him but Hu Tao is different. She is caring and very humorous and Xiao adores that.

"Well..." Xiao trailed off with his words

"I've been thinking..." Xiao's heart started picking up speed. He was to afraid of telling her the truth but he knows that he must.

"Just meet me at my house tonight..." He ended his sentence there, going back to his stubborn tone. Hu Tao nodded and her grin stayed there, planted on her face...Xiao actually found it cute...?

Time skip• to lunch

Hu tao and Xiao both decided to eat outside for lunch to watch the nice view of the soft wet grass and the trees hurdling in the winds as the birds chirped softly made them feel something. But what??? All Xiao wanted to say to her was....

"Will you be mine?"🌹
