The school day slowly went on and every once in a while my mind dragged back to Darryl. Soon it was last period computer science and I was daydreaming as usual but I was caught out of my trance as I heard a familiar name. The name wasn't mine but it was Darryl. I shot my head up and I saw Darryl. I was surprised that I saw him. I have never noticed that he was there before but he was. Soon I heard the teacher announce that we had a project that we had to make a game. We didn't get to pick partners. I really wanted to be partners with Darryl and I got partnered with Darryl. I walked over to him and awkwardly said "hi" "hm oh hi" he said "so are we going to work on the new project orr..." I asked "oh ya sorry let's work on it." We started to work on the game. We based it on my favorite game which is surprisingly Darryl's to, Minecraft. I started to code in some stuff like the basic grass and trees as Darryl Started to brainstorm some names we can call it.

(Time skip to after school)

I was walking through the hallway when I saw a flyer for football tryouts. I always wanted to play football but I was told that I was too small and weak to play so I never played. I know all the rules and how to play. I was definitely going to tryouts and prove those people wrong. I read the time and date

~after school on Monday~

It's Friday so only 2 days until Monday. I squealed with excitement not noticing everyone staring at me.

I walked out of the school and I saw Darryl. I walk up to him "hey you're Darryl right?" I asked already knowing the answer "yeah you're Zak from computer science" he responded. I didn't know what was going on in my head but before I think I asked "do you want to come over to my house" shit he probably thinks I'm weird or something "sure why not" he answered smiling. I just stood there looking like an idiot. I quickly snapped out of it and said "cool"

We got in my car and Darryl asked if we could stop at his house to drop some stuff off. He told me his address and off I went to his house.
