(Zak's pov)
I rushed to the kitchen hoping that Darryl didn't read my messages. As I got to the kitchen I saw Darryl looking through the cupboard. It looks like he can't find it, I thought to myself "need some help" I asked "ya I can't find it" Darryl replied. I walk over to where he was standing and tried to get the thermometer but I couldn't reach the cupboard.(short people problems😞)
This action received a giggle from Darryl while I stood there mad and embarrassed at the same time. That's when I felt a pair of hands grip my waist and lift me up. I was stunned but I grabbed the thermometer. I handed it to Darryl. He thanked me then dragged me to the couch. He laid me down and put the thermometer in my mouth. He took the thermometer out of my mouth "you're temperature isn't high at all, you scared me" Darryl said I just giggled in response. "I'm feeling better now" I told him "that's good you little muffin" Darryl said. I turned my head and looked out the window. "Wow! It's really dark outside, what time is it" I said Darryl checked his phone "HOLY MUFFIN it's already 10:30!" Darryl screamed "you can stay here for the night if you want" I told him. "I can!" Darryl lit up with excitement as if he was a 5 year old who just got invited to a birthday party. "Ya it's no problem" I said "thank you" Darryl said. "You can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the couch" I said. "Ok" Darryl said walking off. Not even 5 seconds later Darryl came back "Which one is your room?" Darryl said. I giggled at this "follow me I'll show you". I led Darryl to my room and said good night, then went to the couch to sleep.

(Darryl's pov)

Zak said I could sleep in his room, I was tired so I just agreed. I walked off to go to his room but then I remembered I don't know where his room is. I walked back and asked what room was his. This earned a giggle from Zak. OH MY MUFFIN his giggles are too cute I thought to myself. After I snapped out of my thoughts I realized Zak was walking somewhere. I assumed he was going to his room so I followed him. He opened the door, it was his room. He said goodnight and went to the couch. I went over to his bed and got in. I covered myself in his blanket, it smells like him I thought to myself. Wait I don't like him I just met him I'm not gay, right.

(Zak's pov)
I went back to the couch and went to sleep.

(Couple hours later)
I woke up to how cold my living room is. It's so cold he wouldn't mind, right o thought to myself. I got up and went to my room. I stayed silent so I wouldn't wake Darryl up, I crawled into my bed and went to sleep.
