༺ 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 ༻A man stood on the sand of a beach. It was night, the sky was the deepest shade of blue with a few stars glowing and the moon shined onto the ocean water.
The man stood by the shore waiting. Waiting to take 𝐡𝐞𝐫 away. In the distance into the ocean water the man caught sight of what he was waiting for all night.
Coming at full speed towards the shore he could see a tail splash in the water. It wasn't a fish, shark, or mermaid, it was more dangerous than the three.
The being walked onto the sand as it got closer to shore and stood in front of the man on two legs as if a human would.
With it's strong guard up and on full alert of anything the being stared at the man with disgust, regret, and guilt pent up in them.
They felt disgust because they hated the man who stood before them.
They felt regret because they didn't want to give 𝐡𝐞𝐫 up. She should be with them because it's her birth right. The being thought to it's self.
They felt guilt because of what they had to do to get her safe and what the man's true intentions were for 𝐡𝐞𝐫.
Her being the future for them. The sirens.
And him. Him being her 𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐞 father.
Gently the being gave the child to the man as it slept under a heavy curse that would soon be broken when the time came.
"Are you sure she won't remember the water"
"And she won't remember who she is"
The being gruffed at him with a hateful look then turned its back to the man and walked into the water swimming back home.
Well what's left of it.
