with his eyes glued to the screen, a small smile slowly made its way on scaramouche's face as he continued looking through the photos of you he had on his phone. he totally didn't have a folder in his gallery reserved for just photos of you and him.

he was lying on his stomach, using his elbows to support himself on his bed and swinging his legs in the air like a lovestruck high school girl staring at a picture of her crush.

once he heard the sound of his door opening, he gasped and threw his phone under his pillow.

"kuni what are you doing—?" his mother questioned as she entered his room, her purple eyes staring into his soul as she watched him almost fall off his bed, hiding his phone.

"uh—" he stuttered as he refused to look at ei, pretending to be busy with staring at the wall, "—drugs." he said quietly, trying to hide his red, embarrassed face.

ei furrowed her eyebrows, looking puzzled as she looked at her son. she obviously knew he made that up, but she didn't want to question him about it. "i see..." she said as she rested her hand on the doorknob, "you told me to wake you up at 5, but you weren't even sleeping..."

"uh, yeah, i didn't feel like it." scaramouche shrugged his shoulders, trying to seem cool about the embarrassing situation he put himself in. he quickly grabbed his phone from under his pillow, seeing a notification from (y/n). a small smile formed on his face, but he immediately dropped it once he realized his mother was in the room.

she chuckled, clicking her tongue, "ah, okay," she said with a smile, which made her son glare at her, "anyway, you're having dinner with (y/n), right? make sure to say hi."

"whatever." he rolled his eyes as ei left his room, shutting the door.
