I was worried about this Rosie girl. Brandon didn't seem to like her and so I had to get the scoop, so I woke Ellie up and we headed to the vents. We had explored the vents occasionally but didn't have the whole layout figured out- however, we knew that Rosie was on the floor above, where they did the laundry at, so we had to climb up the vent shaft. We went and explored room to room, until we found the one.
We knew it was the one because of photos posted around her room. We noticed a stuffed teddy bear sitting on the desk. We tried to wake it up. We were about to give up hope, when it moved. It was a body guard! By the looks of it, it was an old one; but it slowly made its way to the vent.
The bear introduced itself as Snuggles, so Ellie and I introduced ourselves. He asked what our business was- and we said that we were just exploring so we could protect our kid. Snuggles said that he used to have the energy to explore all of the places but his kid was older and didn't need his protection anymore- so he didn't need to do that. He asked us to come in- but because the vent was screwed in, we couldn't.
He slowly walked back to behind a dresser in the room, grabbing something he must have stashed underneath. When he came back, he handed us a J shaped tool, with a screw driver attached to the end. He said it was a tool he got to open the vents from the inside- he told us that we could have it. We thanked him and began to ask about the place.
He told us that there were a couple of people who were mean on this floor but for the most part everybody was nice. He said Rosie was great but he called her Rose. She was in college as well but had to work her way to get here. Her family didn't have any money and she was all on her own. She had 4 other girls who lived in the apartment with her but she was the one who didn't have to share a room.
We weren't going to be able to explore much with her body guard around, so we headed back into the vents. While we didn't get info, we got a much needed tool.
