Nevermore the school for outcasts, and I was one of them. On a full moon my inner beast had awakened and swallowed me whole. Dark and in despair I clawed my way out. No recollection of the previous night. That afternoon I was suspected and questioned by the cops.

“ where were you last night silver ? Perhaps at the party?” They glared with no sympathy ready to pin the fault on anyone.

“ I apologize but Silver has had a rough night, you see she has nightmares often” Mother gently rubbed my back as she spoke with a sweet voice.

“ We understand, we’ll come back later to ask once again” they stood and walked out with my dad.

“ Silver hurry we must leave” Mom whispered in my ear pulling my arm to pack my belongings.

I was confused, scared, and most of all guilty. I was supposed to meet Lily at that party, we were supposed to meet with Tom and Drew. My head pounced as I thought back to last night. Lights around the trees, loud music, teenagers dancing, laughter, alcohol. My body felt heavy and my head dizzy. “ Silver now is not the time kid, we have to get the hell out of here”.
I nodded while sitting to throw random clothes in bags.

“ I’ll be sending you with your brothers.” she read the confusion on my face and sat next to me.
“ Last night, it was you.. you finally transformed” My body shook as the realization hit me, I had killed Lily, my best friend, the girl who always stood by my side. My mom hugged my crying form trying to comfort me.

Andrea, my younger sister hurried in “ Silver get the hell up, it wasn't your damn fault Lily dragged you out, you told her you weren't allowed out and she provoked you. She told you if you didnt go with her you weren't her real friend. Just to meet some random guys!”
She pulled me in a tight embrace and comforted me with her small words that meant so much.

“ We need to go before the decide to return” I nodded and grabbed my things.

Lily wasnt what silver thought she was, Lily had always been someone talk behind others backs and act all friendly in front of them. She loved telling everyone how much of an apparent freak you were. BUt silver never realized it, she was manipulated into thinking Lily was a saint and somehow SIlver was always the bad guy.

On the drive my parents explained to me why I hadn't remembered what had happened.

“ Silvey you know our family comes from a long line of alphas. You've transformed quicker than we had expected and you isolated yourself inside the wolf without even trying to fight for control. So the wolf took control of your fear, “ Dad explained.

I had hidden inside myself, yet the other half of me tried protecting me from my fear. I had blocked out everything and that's why I couldn't remember. Andrea grabbed my hand gently squeezing it. Smiling lightly at her I let my parents explain their plan.

They would move closer to Nevermore, what mattered was that the situation I had accidentally caused would eventually fade.
Soft rain hit the window slowly trickling down, gray clouds filled the sky.

Even though we aren't “normal” my parents had stability, my ancestors had gone through great hardships to allow their future family to not suffer. They were called freaks, monsters, and harmed in ways no other person could imagine.

“ Here we are! Honey, you're going to love it here. I have so many fond memories of this place. Oh! I met your father here actually” she looked over at my dad smiling in a soft loving way. Even after so long they loved each other. I hoped to one day find my mate as my mom did.
