A/n Doing another marhat chapter because why not?
And I want pal to have another cuteness overload.
That's for giving me diabetes 😈

Hatter wakes up to find March with their face buried in his neck.
Hatter smiles and kisses their forehead.
March twitches their nose and looks up at him with a sleepy look.

"Good morning March".

"Morning hat".

"I could get used to hearing that".

March smiles and looks around.

"Where's the food?".

"Carol had the fireflies eat it".

"Even the basket and blanket?".

"No that was sent with the birds".

March shivers from the cold even though they have fur.
Suddenly they smile as an idea pops into their head.
They look at Hatter and smile while cuddling him.

"Can we go get some hot chocolate with cinnamon carrot whip cream?", They ask.

"Sure".

Hatter carries March,bridal style, down the mushrooms.

"You don't have to carry me", March mumbles.

"I want to".

March smiles and kisses hatter's cheeks.
They enter the trunk of the tree and Hatter sets them down in front of the fireplace.

"Wait here ,I'll make the hot chocolate".

Hatter takes a fluffy blue blanket from the shelf and wraps it around their shoulders.

March huddles closer to the fire as they wait for hatter.

He returns with a huge cup of hot chocolate with orange whip cream and cinnamon sprinkled on top.

" You didn't get one for you?".

"We're sharing".

March smiles and takes the cup of hot chocolate.
Hatter quickly takes the blanket off of them and gets behind March.
He wraps the blanket around them both and March happily snuggles closer to Hatter.

Hatter pulls out two straws from his pocket and sticks them in the cup.

"Wanna watch a movie?", Hatter asks.

March nods and Hatter grabs a remote, points it at the t.v and clicks on the Elf movie.

During the movie they occasionally take turns sipping on the hot chocolate except for when they both take a sip and catch the other's eyes.
They smile and snuggle even closer together.

When they get to the part where buddy meets Jovi carol walks in.

"Oh! Sorry guys I'll leave you guys alone".

However when she turns to leave she spots Jovi on the t.v.

"You're watching elf? Nevermind imma watch it in my room".

Hatter smirks and asks as carol walks out ," Is it because there's a pretty girl named Jovi in it?".

" Definitely not!", Carol yells back.

They laugh as the movie continues.
Although as the movie plays March starts to sleep.

"You might wanna stay up if you want me to make you some more carrot cake".

March suddenly perks up with his ear twitching at the words carrot cake.

"I'm up! Let's go make it!".

"Nope you'll have to earn it first".

March smiles and kisses Hatter.

"Now can we make the cake?", They whine.

"Just don't eat the batter".

"Me?! You're the one with a big sweet tooth!".

"Yeah but I have a new sweet obsession".

"What?".

"You".

March smiles and kisses Hatter one more time.

"Stop! You're going to make me an addict!", Hatter giggles.

"At least you know where to get your fix", march replies with a wink.

They go to the kitchen and make the cake.

After the cake is done they cover it with cream cheese icing.

"I call first bite!",March declares.

After they take a bite they hum in delight.

"This is sweeter than the first!".

"Not as sweet as you".

March smiles.

" So are we official now?".

"Yes we are".

They smile at each other and hug each other.

" Did I ever tell you how much I love you?",hatter asks.

" Only about five times while you were awake and twenty when you were asleep", march giggles.

"Well I'm saying it again. I love you march".

"And I you hat".
