"It was impossible for you to work something out with Housen-kun all along, Horikita-senpai. You got the idea of forming a partnership after Housen-kun came to your floor and said something about your class. But.... that was nothing more than a ruse, all along. Even if you did pay them a ridiculous sum of points, like the five million he's asking for, you would still have suffered the same fate," said Nanase.

"When was this?"

Suki: "During the first special exam for the second and first years. Class 2-D was trying to make an equal partnership with Class 1-D. Horikita negotiated but in the end it got to nothing"

(D): "Wait, is that Sudo-kun lying there on the floor?!"

Horikita: "Housen beat down Ken and me..."

(2): "You even went against a girl?!"

Suki: "Horikita thought after House beat Sudo she could have a chance against him! Isn't that hilarious?"

Ryuen: "You thought you could win against that paisen? Kukuku how delirious are you!"

Housen: "Who are calling paisen here weakling!"

Sudo: "S-suzune isn't delirious! She had no other choice but to try!"

Suki: "Of course you would bark again if it's about your owner. But she clearly thought she had a chance in winning this fight, even after seeing him beat you"

After hearing this shocking truth from Nanase, Horikita couldn't help but feel even more shaken and upset. No matter how hard she pressed Housen to negotiate, no matter how much effort she put into it, he was never going to actually listen to her. And this wasn't Horikita's fault at all. There was no one on our side who could have predicted things would turn out this way.

"Why try to negotiate anyway? I mean look at him, he wouldn't bat an eye when turning against you"

Housen just smirks at that, not even denying the claim.

This inexplicable series of events was probably the result of an unequal distribution of information. There was information that was given to Housen and Nanase, but not given to us. Under such circumstances, there had never been a way for us to have any real negotiations.

"Stop thinking so much! Call a teacher and help your classmates!"

"Yeah! That's the least you could do after watching them get beaten up!"

"Damn, all your yappin' is really pissing me off. You're the one who said you'd let me handle everything in the first place, remember? If I take out Ayanokouji, our class is gonna get tons of cash. It's obvious how much of an advantage that'll give us," said Housen.

"Wh-what? Taking out that guy and cash?"

(2 B): "What kind of stupid bet is that? Beating up a student for money?!"

(2): "Who would even propose such a deal?"

(2): "The student council has to do something about this! Housen can't be unpunished for this"

Nagumo doesn't say anything and just grits his teeth.

"Yes, I suppose you're right. But I still cannot figure out why it's only Ayanokouji-senpai who needs to be targeted like this," said Nanase. "That ain't any of my concern. If you're gonna get in my way, then you can just piss off too!" shouted Housen. His huge form barreled down on Nanase and slapped her out of the way just like he'd done to Horikita before.

"You're hitting your own classmate?! And a girl at that?!"

Housen: "Yeah got a problem shit face?"

The student who spoke up quickly shuts his mouth and sinks back into his seat, getting scared by Housens evil grin.

As I stood there by myself, watching this spectacle, I came to one single conclusion. And with that, everything made sense.

"Don't just stand there! Do something! Run away, call for help! I don't care! Just do something!"

"Here I come, Ayanokouji!"

Held in Housen's right hand was, quite clearly, a dangerous weapon.

Everyone stares shocked at the screen, having thought that not even Hosen would stoop to such low levels.

"A-a... A knife?!"

Hosen: "Wow dumbasses can see after all"

"But-but that's- how!"

Hosen: "Just shut up stupid bit-"

First year teacher: "Do you really want to say something like that in front of a teacher?"

Hosen: "Tch as if I care"

Naturally, everyone assumed he had meant to use it against me.

"Of course he's gonna use it against you! What are you still doing there!"

Hasebe: "Wait, wasn't that around the time you had an injury on your hand?!"

"What! He really-"

Hosen: "You got a problem with that?"

Haruka: "Of course I got a problem with that! How could you!"

Not fearing Hosens glare, Hasebe returns it with one of the same intensity, fueled by her rage. But the she turns to me...

Haruka: "And you Kiyopon..."

Oh no...

Haruka: "How could you not tell us you were hurt?! And by this stupid gorilla of all! How do you always get into such messes!"

Why do I have such a strong urge to say 'Sorry mom'?

Housen, smiling, raised the knife. I pitched forward, readying myself, while at the same time feeling my thoughts becoming clearer.

"Ayanokouji-kun...!"

(2): "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

While everyone else thought I should obviously run from Housen in a situation like this, I was, instead, rushing toward him. I bet they were all thinking the same thing in that moment that I had lost my mind. After all, facing off with someone holding a knife wasn't exactly the mentally best thing to do, as Hosen was already formidable to begin with. And Housen wasn't some weak, two-bit opponent either.

"IF YOU KNOW THAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!!"

But seeing this, Housen's smile widened. He probably thought I was an idiot for leaping toward him. But I wasn't actually trying to stop him from stabbing me by rushing at him like this.

People begin to scream at the screen, changing between looking away out of fear and looking at it again out of curiosity and anticipation.

Housen, sensing that I was getting in close, accelerated the downward arc of his arm. What he was swinging the knife at what he was aiming the blade at wasn't my body.

Housen Kazuomi was aiming for himself.

"What are you talking about! Run away!"
