Epilogue

She looked at up the sky. Then she spread her wings and grabbed her sword. With one last look over Teyvat she said her goodbye to that world and the friends she made. Even if she suceeded she would never see them again. If the Principles got overthrown it would be her duty to watch this world and protect it. She couldn't just wander off then. This was a world without gods now. The peace within it was fragile. It needed protection now more than ever. Since she felt new problems arising. Natlan and Fontaine were searching desperately for the culprits in the murder of their archons. Snezhnaya's Harbingers fought against each other, while citizens tried to overthrow them. The people saw them at fault for the war. But there were also good things. The other four nations helped together to rebuild Narukami island. They started to act as a union, which could bring peace to parts of Teyvat.
She breathed in and out calmly and prepared to start, as she felt something behind her. The wind there shifted and someone was there.
"Trav-"
She turned around to look at Paimon, who fell silent at her gaze. Big dark eyes looking at her and a small arm crossing before her chest grabbing the other, unsure of where else to put it. "Pai... I. I am sorry for leaving... But I can explain! I-, It-", her guest started again. Moving exitedly through the air, she was floating in. But Lumine just gave a hug instead of an answer. She pulled her closely towards her taking her in, in relief. Her former travel companion embraced it. As the Traveler let go, she wiped small tears off her face, smiling. "You remember now, don't you?", Paimon asked, her face looked worried. "I do", the Traveler answered looking at the ground beneath her feet, "and you do too" She looked back up at the former god, who nodded. Even though Lumine knew her, this Paimon was still unknown to her. They shared looks and manneurisms, but she remembered the other one differently. More childish. For a moment Paimon said nothing before asking again: "So... What is your plan now?" Lumine turned around again looking up at her destination. Celestia. The floating city that hid the entrance to her home.
Paimon must have followed her gaze because the next thing she said was: "No, no, no, no, no! Are you crazy? You know what they're going to do to you!" The Traveler turned back to her.
"And how are even going to get in there? The entrance is sealed! And heavily guarded!", Paimon continued.
"I have this", Lumine moved the sword in her hand and then opened up her bag to show it's contents to her friend, "and this." The glowing gnoses were inside of it. Lumine closed the bag again: "So are you coming with me?" Paimon hesitated for a moment. Then she nodded: "Yes, count me in!" They smiled at each other before the Traveler took out something from a second bag. It was something wrapped that Paimon couldn't reconize. Lumine used Pyro in her palm to hold the thing over it. And as it got warmer and Paimon smelled it's scent, she knew. "Is that-?", she asked. "Yes, Amber gave this to me, to give to you" "Amber's the best!", Paimon squealed joyfully, gladly taking the food. Lumine smiled.
Maybe some things never change. It reminded her that, no matter how many things were lost, good things still remained. And the friendship of her and Paimon would live through all that. The Principles will fall and then Teyvat and all the other worlds will know peace. And after that she and her brother will be reunited.

There was darkness all around when he opened his eyes. As he moved, he expected pain, but there was none. So it had happened. When he had pulled himself towards Lumine and touched her forehead to transfer his memories to her, he had died. Well not really died. He was a god. A being that was born with this world, he wouldn't die that easily.
Aether pushed himself from a cold stone floor to sit upright. Purple glowing eyes starring back at him. Then red ones, then blue ones, then turquoise, then green, then golden brown eyes. And even piercing icy blue ones. Looking at him. In hatred, or pity or pain, or all of these emotions together. "You were right, Morax. He's gaining back consciousness...", the purple eyes said in a raspy aggressive voice. A green light illuminated the room showing the silhouettes of the seven archons. Emitted from someone that seemed like a little girl. The same archons he had killed by his subordinates. Or in one case, even killed himself. They knew it was him. At least two of them did. Barbatos' and Morax' looks were the only gentle ones. Because only they knew what had motivated him. But the other ones, especially the Electro archon, had hatred in their eyes. "Easy there Ei. Please don't kill him. It’s pointless anyways...", Morax responded. But her eyes didn't move. "But I can make him suffer. Like he made my people suffer!", she roared, her voice echoing from the stone walls that surrounded them. "Ei... He will suffer enough once they find out he is awake...", Morax tried to calm her down again. She looked first at the Geo archon then at him: "I hope so..." Barbatos came closer towards Aether and sat right next to him. "Are you allright?", the Anemo archon asked. Aether hesitated for a moment before he mumbled: "I'm sorry... The Shougun is right, I deserve to suffer. I see that now. All this time I have been filled with so much hate, but I should have known, that neither of you had a choice that day..." The hand of the Anemo archon touched his shoulder and he smiled gently at Aether. "But we kind of did have a choice. We could have rebelled against them...", he said, but then he took his handback and looked curiously at the twin, "so now that this done with, I and all of the other archons have a question... Why did you get reborn into Celestia?" "Because I am one of you. I am a god..." The archon laughed loudly, but stopped when the rest of the room remained silent. "You're joking right?", Barbatos asked. However Aether shook his head.
"No. I got born with this world. Me and my sister are it's oldest deities, long forgotten..." Morax' eyes widened as he seemingly recognized what he talked about. But the Geo archon remained silent. "So... if we are here, does that mean all gods get reborn to Celestia?", Buer's soft voice asked, sending the light in the air to illuminate everyone. Aether nodded: "Yes. You and every one of your predecessors. If they died..." The Shougun's hatred left her for a moment and her eyes got watery. And back in the cave the Cryo archon's mask slipped for a moment. "Buuuuuut", the Anemo archon joined the conversation again, "if you knew that all along, why did you kill us then?" The self proclaimed prince looked around and answered: "To bring you all here. But it wasn't my plan. It was Amalie's..."

The End (?)
________

Soooo, this it. But if you'd like a continuation of this story, just say it and I'll do my best :))
A chapter in Genshin has multiple acts too ;))
I still have cool ideas for future story arcs, allthough I need to make up a lot about unknown archons then...
