Time skip- 4 months???

As I woke up , I was met with a woman sitting at the end of the bed looking in my direction. It took me a few seconds to process it but when I woke up a bit more, I realised it was Lady Lesso.

"What the fuck are you doing!"

I sat up in shock, startled. Her sitting at the end of my bed was the last thing I was expecting to wake up to. But it almost made me feel a sense of warmth inside. Her face being the first thing I saw as I woke up in the morning, it kind of felt right in the weirdest way possible.

"Get up."

That's all she said. I was still so confused why.

"Has something happened? Is it urgent? Is someone hurt? Who's hurt?-"
All these questions I was asking her but yet again, no answer. She's been acting so weird lately, I thought maybe this could be the answer to why.

She let out a rather large irritated sigh.

"Just get up."

As soon as I climbed out of my bed she grabbed my wrist and led me out of the room. I didn't even have time to get changed, which I was slightly annoyed about.

She took me to a forest by the school, even though it was summer, there were no leaves on the trees. They looked almost withered. The forest lacked colour, it was just grey. Almost.. Boring. I decided to be optimistic and trust the process because I was about to get frustrated that she had pulled me out of bed for that. And yet, I was correct in trusting her as she led me to a beautiful stone staircase embedded in the soil of the forest, with trees of all shapes and sizes winding around it. At the top was a waterfall that fell into a small lake. It was stunning, unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The leaves were not boring and grey, they were a magnificent sage colour. It felt like I was dreaming.

"I want you to show me your powers properly."

"I already did, a few months back though."

"Yes, but I want to see them to the fullest extent."

I sighed

"Fine then."

"Great!"

She smirked

"Okay then, I want you to freeze that lake over there."

"I don't think I can do that."

"Trust me, I do."

I took a deep breath in and looked at my hand, my finger was glowing blue, I glanced back up at her, her eyes were shimmering in the blue light, she looked into mine. The few seconds that we shared staring into eachothers eyes was perfect. It was different to any other time.

"Well, what are you waiting for?"

She lowered her voice in the most seductive way possible. I blinked to break eye contact and looked forward to the lake. I hesitated, knowing there was no chance I could freeze the entirety of it.

"Venelia..."

"I can't do it. There's absolutely no way."

She leaned in and bent down a little so her chin was hovering over my shoulder.

"Yes you can."

She whispered in my ear and traced her finger down my arm and lifted it. as she turned my wrist making it face the water, butterflies started to form in my stomach. Before I knew it, blue sparks emerged from my hand covering the lake and making it freeze the water.

She gasped, she was in even more shock than I was. She walked over to the lake and knocked on the ice.

"Completely frozen. Hmm. interesting."

Lesso smirked.

"Wow! Really? I was half expecting it to only be a sheet of ice on the surface."

"Well, you expected wrong then. This is beyond fascinating! Even the waterfall has frozen!"

Lesso looked at me, wanting to see more, she reached into her pocket and revealed a small carving knife, the handle was engraved with small roses.

"Come here."

I walked over toward her.

"What other powers do you have?"

"Just ice and, uhm, healing powers."

She smirked again.

"But I can hardly heal things and when I do I can't heal them completely."

Before I could say anymore, She had placed the knife to her palm and traced the knife down it. A line of blood emerged from the deep wound she had created. The crimson liquid began to seep in between her fingers and under her rings. I stood there with my jaw wide open.

"Go on... do something." '

She was awfully calm for someone who was losing a huge amount of blood, very quickly. And yet I just froze. I couldn't do anything. I was so useless.

"Venelia. I'm bleeding out here. You're supposed to help me."

She literally did all of this so she could see what my powers could do. It was a bit excessive.

A little

"Fuck it."

I heard her whisper to herslef.

she lent in and placed her warm lips upon mine. I was not expecting that. I looked down at her palm and the cut was gone. 

"Wow. not even a scar."

Lesso said, surprised.

"But- but how? I have never been able to do that."

"Hmm I don't know."

Lesso said.

"But I know that isn't possible. You did something, what did you do?"

"Ask yourself."

Like I am supposed to know what she means by that. I stood there, utterly confused. She laughed

"When one's emotions are heightened, their powers become stronger. And it's obvious you have a thing for me so I decided to put that theory to test, and I guess it worked!"

She seemed extremely proud of herself. It was kind of adorable. Like she was happy that I liked her, maybe she was.

"I guess we are done here then."

She started to walk back to the school.

I stood there in shock for like the fifth time today, did it really mean nothing. Like absolutely nothing? I really thought that day would be the start of something. But she used me.
