Hyungwon let the keys fall back into his pocket after having unlocked the front door to the city apartment. This used to be the girls' shared house before they had all relocated to the pack house after being mated. They had agreed to keep the place because it might come in handy, and now, it had. He set the bag that he had packed down before looking around the place. He had only ever really been there twice. Once, when Alise had been kidnapped, and the second time, had been to help move the girls things out. The girls had decided to redecorate, making it quite comfortable with a very simple interior design. They had chosen a modern Asian motif and made it really quite fitting for either sexes to feel at home in.

Since it was just him, he decided to take the bedroom downstairs. After setting his bags down, he went to the fridge to check what he'd need during his stay. It had been perfect that everyone had decided to have a date night because his friend had booked him at his club as the DJ for the weekend. And to be honest, he could use the break. Hyungwon grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge before walking back into the living room and collapsing on the couch. He sighed deeply after taking a drink of the water and wondered how Changkyun was fairing with Celest. He had known that he had been planning something for Celest but hadn't been told what it was. He was rooting for him, though.

He sighed, and It slowly dawned on him that he was the last single one left! His brothers had been dropping like flies, finding their mates. He was the only one still unmated. And to be honest, he wasn't sure how he felt about that. I mean, he was happy for his brothers, how could he not be? Every single female who had been brought into the family was amazing. He really did care about each female like a sister and would do anything for them. But part of him wasn't sure if that's what HE wanted right now. He enjoyed his life the way it was. He wasn't as introverted as Changkyun, but he had his moments.

He sat up as his phone went off with a text alert. His buddy, Jackson, the owner of the club, had messaged him with information about the gig for that evening. He shot him back a quick text letting him know he'd be there early to set up before tossing the phone onto the coffee table and laying back onto the couch to catch a little nap before this evening festivities. Hyungwon yawned and, within minutes, was snoring soundly.

Noél was on her way home from work when she got the text from Celest about her not coming home for dinner. This must have had something to do with the cryptic text she had gotten earlier from Ann asking what Celest's favorite food was. Noél shrugged it off, hopping onto the bus that took her home. After finding a seat, she received another text from a friend from work wondering if she'd want to go out to a club for drinks. Since she didn't have to work the next day and didn't have her roommate home to keep her company, she agreed.

It didn't take her long to get home, and when she arrived, she changed and ordered dinner. As she was eating, she checked the group text that she had gotten from work just to get an idea of who would be there. She hadn't really been paying that much attention to it earlier and was curious. She smiled when she saw that her friends, Lisa, Rosé and Jessie were going to be there. She was a bit apprehensive about going out with Jessie because she was fun but always a handful. After finishing her meal and vegging out on the couch for a bit, she decided to take a shower and get ready.

Noél was finally dressed and ready to go, grabbing her keys, phone, and purse before heading out the door. She hadn't decided to go to crazy with her outfit, just a cute yet sexy, black dress that showed off all her assets. She had put her hair up and only done light touch of makeup, knowing that she would get too hot if they were going to be dancing. There is nothing worse than spending time on makeup for it to go to hell while sweating like a pig on the dance floor. The girls had all decided to meet at a coffee shop close to the club so they could all arrive together. Thankfully, the place was in walking distance, and she hummed all the way there.

Hyungwon had woken up from his nap with plenty of time. He ordered some food. He reminded himself that he was going to have to go shopping and went to take a shower. He had been just about ready when the delivery driver arrived with he food. He managed to eat without messing up his clothes and cleaned up before grabbing his keys off the side table by the door where he had put them after retrieving them from his pants pocket earlier. He turned off the lights and was on his way to the club.

He was looking forward to a quiet night, just him and his equipment... And a hundred or so screaming, drunk people. They didn't bother him, though. When he was doing his thing, he was in the zone. Totally in his element. Nothing could bother him. That's why he was so good at what he did. He let the music speak through him and tell a story for his audience. He was like the Pied Piper leading them through a musical journey. He would even make them interact with him, but he always had control of the beat. It was like he was holding their hearts in his hand, and he secretly enjoyed that power.

He parked In the back of the building and began unloading his DJ equipment as a few of the guys who worked on the club recognized him and began helping. He thanked them as he moved his stuff onto the stage and started setting up. The stage was already set up for him, which made life easier. Jackson had kept his word and had everything ready for him. He smiled to himself as he set up. Something inside him just told him tonight was going to be a good night. And it wasn't just the fact that he'd be getting paid well for this. There was something else, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Jackson appeared with his phone glued to his ear talking animatedly about something or other, Hyungwon wasn't really paying attention. He had his headphones half on, checking to make sure things were set up correctly. Jackson ended the call two seconds before hopping onto the stage.

"Yooooo, bro! What's good, man? I'm so happy to have you back in my club! Yo... The last time you were here, you had the place LIT! People were begging to come in. It was craziness! I hope you plan on bringing that fire again tonight?"

Hyungwon gave him a smug side smile after greeting him with a homie handshake.

"Thanks for the call. I'm happy to be here. I don't get to do this often enough. And maaan, you don't even gotta ask. Of course, I'm gonna light it up tonight. That's what I do!" Hyungwon chuckled as Jackson smiled happily, nodding at him before his phone went off again. Hyungwon motioned him to take the call, and Jackson hurried away once again, talking on his phone.

Hyungwon checked his watch and noticed it was almost time to open. Jackson poked his head from around the corner, giving him the thumbs up. As the house lights went down, and the light show began, Hyungwon began the music. One of the wait staff brought him up a water, and Hyungwon quickly asked for a shot and a beer. He liked to have a decent buzz going while he worked. He felt it helped him relax and really get in the mood.
