Groaning, I rolled my eyes, I could have phrased the question a lot better than the blond had. Kiara furrowed her eyebrows and I couldn't help the smile that spread over my lips, she looked so beautiful. She found my gaze and locked eyes with me, but I turned around to sit by the door, my legs felt like they were made from lead.

I didn't know why she expected me to answer her unspoken questions, I wasn't even involved in the plan.

"What is it?" Her voice was so soft when she spoke, and it made me want to embrace her in another hug, but I was too tired to get up so I closed my eyes and listened instead.

"You have to promise to agree." I rolled my eyes behind my eyelids, of course the brunet had to get involved in the conversation, had he ever just listened? The time in this doomed cell hadn't brought us any closer, I don't remember talking to them a single time over the course of a few days.

"I won't promise anything." I almost allowed a smile to take over my face. An odd sort of pride spread in my chest at her words, I couldn't understand why, but it felt good to hear her standing up for herself.

Bile rose in my throat when I thought about how she had looked when I laid eyes on her a few minutes ago. I wouldn't scream even when I wanted to, I wanted to claw the captain's eyes out with a knife and watch him bleed out for the way Kiara looked. The deep bruises covering her beautiful skin were enough for me to see red.

"We need one last favor from you." That man couldn't use words, that's for sure. He was still trying to get her to agree to something she didn't have a clue what it was. I could already tell that she started to grow frustrated by the tone in her voice. Kiara didn't answer, nothing but a quiet shuffling sound slipped into the air, and I assumed she crossed her arms over her chest.

"An attempt to get us out of here once and for all..." He took a breath to continue, but Kiara was faster.

"I'm in." I opened my eyes, my eyebrows already furrowed. I couldn't have guessed in a million years that those would be the words out of her mouth. Her stare stood stern and pointed at the white-haired man, waiting for a plan.

I would have laughed at her determination if it wasn't for the fact that I would be left here to take the punches after their disappearance. I could see the same feelings in her eyes that were in the two men's and, beyond a shadow of doubt, mine too. If they found a way to get out of here, she would do anything to make their wish come true, just like I would for her.

"But we have a demand." The energy in the room shifted at his words, and Kiara changed the point of gravity to her left leg while remaining silent.

"You have to come with us." The blonde's jaw ticked when they waited with patient minds for her answer. Kiara opened her mouth, shaped it to an O before she closed it again.

"No." The word felt final, no use for discussion. The two men exchanged a look, both wearing identical faces of distress. Had they expected this to be easy?

I leaned back, enjoying the last few minutes of happiness before she decided to go with them. It was true joy that flowed like a quiet river through my veins, something I hadn't felt in years.

"We are not leaving this boat without you." Kiara looked shocked at the revelation, I sighed, she had no idea how deep the men were smitten. I could tell by the way she always took a step back every time they showed her any type of affection.

"You have to, I can't just leave." The bleach-blond seemed to think about her answer for a second as he stood up and strode toward her.

"This is how this is going to work..." He took another step closer to her, so their lips were mere inches apart. "...either we tie you up and throw you off this boat along with us, or you go voluntarily, your choice." Kiara gasped, I assumed she wasn't used to being demanded by anyone except The Captain. His mere name made my blood boil.
