4 - Once in a while

Wednesday's

I woke up as I saw Enid's bed is empty. Did she woke up earlier than me? I got up to find her cooking.

"I didn't know that you can wake up earlier than me" She startled because of my sudden greetings

"You startled me, I almost burn myself" She turned around to see me

"Why did you woke up so early?" I asked

"Nothing, I just wanted to wake up early, plus it's just once in a while" She replied and continued cooking

I just nodded quickly and went to the bathroom.

I'm done taking bath and saw Enid designing Thing's nail

"Why don't you sleep? Your class will start later, it's too early" I said

"Nothing, I wanted to see you off. This is my first time" She said

"You didn't have to, you must rest at this time" I replied

"Please let her be, she still need to design my other nails" Thing interupted

"Do you want to loose a finger?" I asked

"Wednesday, that's not very nice of you" Enid said

"You need to sleep, it's too early" I said

"Sure, but wee need a deal" She said

"Whar deal?" I asked

"I'll get to braid your hair" She said proudly. This girl.

"Fine" I said as she happily jumped and hugged me

"Enid...."

"Oh sorry" She apologized and let go of the hug

"No, it's okay" I said and pulled her for a warm hug. This is what I want every morning.

"I don't want this to be once in a while, I want this for everyday" Enid said as she snuggled in my neck

"Hmm, sure if you wanted to" I said

"Wait, really? Hugs every morning before classes!" She looked at me and smiled happily. "What about hugs before sleeping or after class?" She asked

"I still need to think about that" I said that made her giggled

I didn't know that hugs can be this comforting but only for her, of course.

"Now let's braid you hair, you might get late for your class" She said as I sat down for her to braid my hair

I started putting on my shoes when I remembered that I have something to say

"I have a good news and Bad news, what do you want to hear first?" I asked

"Maybe bad news, it looks interesting" She said

"You really getting that side of yours from me" I said

"Of course, now tell me that bad news" She said

"Fencing class schedule got move at 11AM to 1AM that's why we can't eat lunch together, because I won't let you wait for me just to eat lunch with me. Eat with Yoko" I explained

"Aww, why can't I wait? It's only for 2 hours" She said

"No" I said it clearly. I don't want her to get hungry

"What's the good news then?" She asked

"We will be in that same class, the only difference is that our lunch break starts late compared to your break time" I said

"Wait, so we will be in kne class!?" She asked excitedly as she finished braiding my hair

"Yes" I said as she jumps happily.

That jumps, smiles, laughs is the only thing I want to see everyday. I would kill for her to make her like that everyday.
