"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea." Lashion's companion, the small one I now know as Shumirte, whispered to us.
It was most certainly not.
"Shush, be quiet!" Lashion spoke sharply, "You'll get us caught."
The three of us were sneaking around the temple. Lashion said we were going to the office quarters for the nuns, since they'll be occupied by the holy feast tonight, but I wasn't sure he knew where he was going.
"Weird I thought it was a left here," I heard him whisper when we came to a junction, "whatever. This should be the way."
I am now a bit more worried.
I had talked him into carrying out this endeavor though my concern of Nina, though I'm pretty sure he would be into the idea regardless, given his initial reaction was 'Ooh that sounds like fun'.
However, given that we were sneaking around in the girl's section of the building I'd imagine there would be some punishments if we were caught.
I was about to voice some concerns when Lashion stopped us.
"Guys, you see that door?" He pointed to a birch wood door in the hallway in front of us. "That's the one I think."
He thinks.
We made our way slowly towards the door, tried the handle.
And realized it was locked.
Of course it was locked, why wouldn't it be?
"Lashion..." I started.
"Huh, why won't it open? The sisters open it with no problem." He mused.
I sighed and started pondering what spell Rafine had cast back in the dungeon to create a key. As a brown hue appeared before my fingertips I repeated what I remembered of the chant.
But the only thing I managed to do was dirty my clothes with sand.
I tried once more, but this time a sharp pain struck my arms. It dug deep into my veins and stayed there.
It took a lot to not yell.
"Woah, you can use magic? But you're so young." Unfortunately Lashion didn't seem to get the memo.
"Lashion we should be quiet." I held a finger over my lips.
"Oh yeah. Sorry." He whispered back.
Anyway I was wondering how to get past this door when Shumirte tapped my shoulder.
