so today is a reaally important day. my best friend mari is getting proposed to. by who fanum of course! i had duke updating me with information while i got mari ready. she thinks we're going to a museum which we are but you get the point.
which now i was helping her pick out the dress to match. after a minute of questioning why i needed her to wear a black dress she decided on this one.

it was the absolutely best dress i ever laid eyes on. so far everything was going smooth and she didn't suspect a thing. she decided to do her own makeup and things of that nature.

so my girl kali had me get ready for this little outing. im a little suspicious since she was pushing me to wear this black dress. it was mad cute though so i let it slide. i decided to do simple makeup since i didn't want us to be late and it was already 12pm.

"you like it" i asked kali spinning around. "you look stunning" kali replied standing up spinning me around. "thanks girl but it's late cmon before we late" i said going to the car.
so i notice the further we go it gets more clean and quiet like the suburbs. "kali this better not be no get out shit." "i promise it's not it's five minutes away" she said stopping at a red light. "by the way do you know where fanum and the whole group is" i asked worriedly because their not out this late. "at a shoot i think soccer or something" kali said weirdly like trying to make a excuse. "okay but hurry up im excited" i said smiling.

so i honestly could not contain my excitement. i have been friends with mari for 6 years and she met fanum through me and duke. which was at a amp outing at a carnival. I was walking with duke and fanum looking for games and spotted her there. we haven't seen it other in a while so it was a nice surprise or meet up.

i deadass couldn't believe i was doing this right now. i have know mari for 4 years now. we met through kali at a carnival. i had no idea who she was but there was a connection at soon as we locked eyes.

so i was at this carnival just to go because i had a free ticket. i was playing this rigged basketball game then heard a voice behind me. i looked behind me and saw kali my best friend since i was 19. i was talking her then heard a tall brown skin with tattoos telling her she had to go. she told me, i could talk to the guy next to the brown skin who name i found out was duke. the guy was slightly shorter looked dominican with a calming essence about him.
after like 4 hours we were like best friends that known each other for a lifetime. we had exchanged numbers then went to the food court. that was the best day of my life so far.

so we at the art museum for a while looking at art. i heard a small noise but pass it on as a animal. i wondered why no one was here, i remembered kali telling me it was a private showing. there was a painting where it seemed like two people standing in front of brightly lit background. there was a lot of beautiful paintings but Kali told me there was a painting she thinks i will love.

"so this painting is in the back" i said exciting grabbing my hand leading me to the back. "are we supposed to be here, what if someone jumps out the painting and chase us." "girl trust me it's worth it." i said leading her into a tiana-ish theme room. "what the hell is this- omg" mari said shocked seeing fanum and the rest of amp.
the room was filled with all different kinds of greens and browns. her favorite movie is tiana so it made perfect sense.

a bunch of "oh's" and "that makes sense" then just silence. "wait your pregnant" i said holding the sonogram in my hand staring at her. "duh what else you think i got this from amazon" mari said with a joking face. "your going to be a father" kai said jumping on my arm causing everyone else to.
