mari's pov- requested
today was the day of my baby shower and we're setting up in the backyard of the amp house. well, more like me, agent, duke, and chris. the other i sent to get the food. i was blowing air into the balloons but im pregnant i need to preserve some air for the baby. beings nearly 9 months was difficult. i didn't know who was coming probably amp, amp affiliates, family, and other friends. i had to get dressed so i went into the house to get ready.
i was putting on my dress when agent came in. "how come you ain't dressed yet, i want pictures before everyone gets here" i said passing agent his sweater thingy. "you already turning into a mom, babe" agent said fixing the hat on his head. "im already a mom, dean" i said fixing my flats. he kept fidgeting with his hat so i had to help him. "i don't need help you know" agent said rubbing his hands on my belly. "i cant be seen out there with you looking like a fool" i said fixing his sweater before leaving.
"kai! drop that cake ima drop kick your ass" i said walking downstairs to see kai bringing in the cake. "sis, chill nothing going to happen to the cake, see" kai placed the cake on the stand. "you know better, is fanum and davis ready yet. "i think so." my plan to reveal the baby was to have fanum and davis in an inflatable baby boy and girl costume, and whoever wins that's the babies gender. "alright i don't need yall fucking up shit" i stated to kai, duke, chris, and agent. "got it" they all said. alright, now we wait for people to get here.
right now there were about 45-55 people here just minding until we bring out fanum and davis. "so what are you going to name the baby" duke asked adjusting his brown shirt. its teddy bear themed and also the pink and blue classic for me. bear theme is too but its cute. "naveen for a boy and diana for a girl" agent said taking a sip of juice. "yall going to have some cute kids forever" leading everyone at our table to agree. "well i think its time guys" i said clinking my glass of apple juice.
"well first off thank you guys for coming out today" i started off. "we decide to do something different, basically boy and girl will hast it out," agent said opening the door for fanum dressed as the girl and davis as the boy. i put the boxing gloves on davis, while agent did for fanum. "may the best one win!" i said whistling causing the two to start playfully fighting. my mom set this up so she was the only one who knew who would win. boy and pink were getting hits in. girl damned near slammed boy but eventually blue won with my mother raising davis's right hand.
i always wanted a boy there were so many girls in my family. after we celebrated we started to eat. at my table it was agent, duke, kai, and my mom. "so are you excited" kai said poking my sides and eating at the same time. "yea i know its going to hurt at the same time" i said rubbing my stomach. "its all worth it trust" my mom said from across me. i finished eating so me and agent decide to open gifts.
"first gift from, chris," i said putting out a handful of music-related stuff. "im be sure to feature him on some songs. my son would definitely have top-tier music taste, i mean look who he gonna be around. agent and i pulled out a handful of diapers, clothes, shoes, pictures, and everything. the party was coming to an end so agent decided to make a closing speech. "well once again thanks for coming out and for a large number of gifts" agent stated. "don't worry about any more kids, they're coming soon" agent said making everyone laugh and me swatting his shoulder. "no but for real thanks for coming out no visitors for the first 5 months and thirty days, peace" agent said waving goodbye to everyone leaving.
5 months and 30 days later
i was chilling on the island seat trying to feed my son when i heard the door ringing rapidly. "agent! see who's outside" i yelled for he wherever he was in the house. "look at the doorbell, mari" agent said casting it on the tv. i took naveen out of his seat to look at the tv. it was everyone from amp rushing to get inside. duke jumping out of the car over the fence with a bag in his hand. kai rang the doorbell trying to move duke out the way. and everyone else doing the same thing.
"open the door, just tell them to relax," i said to dean taking my son to the couch. i loved sitting in the corner plus that's where all my plushies are. everyone started to pile around me getting a look at the baby. "he does look like agent right" i said looking at them. "yea, he definitely going to get that forehead gene" duke said making everyone laugh.
"okay you guys done," i asked after taking pictures and everyone holding the baby. "we gotta get to know our nephew first," chris said holding naveen and rocking him in his arms. everyone started to put their bags down. "just don't drop him, and don't do too much," i said relaxing my head into agents shoulder. the living room was connected to the kitchen so i could watch them.
now they were trying to get naveen to dance. and fanum and chris trying to make some sort of organic fruit potion. i was now sitting in dean's lap just happy. "we did good didn't we" i asked. "we one hundred percent did" agent said kissing the top of my head.
