Orientation for the years seniors was packed. You quickly searched for a seat as your mind was still thinking about its recent encounter. He was actually really good looking. Why did I have to come all the way to Japan just to find a damn soul mate. Well, it doesn't matter I haven't seen him since maybe hes moved on.

Students were steadily flooding into the auditorium, but the instructor was missing. You glanced down at your phone to check to the time because if no one was showing up that was a sign to leave. So that is exactly what you did, gathering your things to head near the exit until your body crashed into something. "Holy shit I'm sorry." A familiar voice spoke.

Your body went stiff as you gazed up to see if it was the same guy from this weekend and it was. "It's you again. You ran away from me before telling me your name. I'm Ichigo by the way." Your heart was thumping loudly in your ears, is this how it actually felt to have a soulmate? You passed a hard gulp, "Y-YN." You accidentally stutter. Get it together bitch. Stuttering like you're in elementary school.

"YN .. huh. Do you mind if I take you out sometime?" He asked. Shes beautiful. Almost out of my league. "Yea .. um that sounds nice." Suddenly a voice interrupts you guys sweet moment, "Nice of you to join us Mr. Kurosaki. Now could you please introduce yourself to the class." Ichigo's face burned with embarrassment unaware of how smooth he was being in front of the entire class. He cleared his throat, "Right."

You silently walked away body still buzzing from the encounter maybe Ichigo wasn't lame like the rest of the guys you've dated. Well, he is after all your soulmate but even though you've found each other it still felt like something was missing.

While you and Ichigo were busy with the first day of college things were different in the Soul Society. Rukia left her brothers room with a sigh, "Is he still sulking?" Renji asked. Rukia wrapped his tiny arms around Renji, "Yes I don't know what else to do." Renji lightly gave his wife a kiss on top of her head, "I'm sure you will just give him some more time." His words were reassuring but Rukia knew her brother was not handling the death of his soulmate well.

Rukia nagged her brother enough to make him arise from his bed. Byakuya undressed himself to go take a much needed soak. He opened the doors to his traditional Japanese bath house, finally sticking his tired bones into the warm water. He let out a small sigh as he tilted his head back to gaze at the ceiling, "Perhaps I'm destined to be alone."

His sulking was paused once he started to receive memories of you, some of them with you being at college, small dates and a wedding with him as the groom. He pressed a hand to his head, "Who was that woman? And was that school in Ichigo's town?" His brain began to race with all sorts of questions until it settled on one thing, "I have to go to the world of the living to get to the bottom of things."
