Chapter Seven

Byakuya currently in his room fixing his Captain's robe for the thousandth time, only for him to be disturbed by loud knocking on his door. "Hurry up pretty boy. My woman is waiting on us." Kenpachi yells. Byakuya deeply sighed feeling a headache already coming as he walked to the door.

He opens and steps out, "Will you keep it down. And again she's not your woman she's OUR's" Byakuya begins walking off with Kenpachi trailing behind him. "Whatever. I hope she Remember to pack her things. Although most of our time will be spent naked." Kenpachi casually says.

Byakuya stops in his tracks, "What are you talking about?" "You thought I would let her come here and not stay the night." He laughs. continuing to walk. Byakuya gently put a hand on Kenpachis shoulder, "Hold it. Lets make this interesting." "What did you have in mind?"

"First one reaches the gate. She stays the night with that person." "Interesting. Throw in a week of doing each other's squad duties and you got a deal." Kenpachi proposed. "Son of a bitch." Byakuya cursed under his breath, "Deal."

He stuck his hand out which Kenpachi shook, "Alright. Go." Byakuya says. In a quick blip he was gone, "Motherfucker. I'll kill him." Kenpachi cursed chasing him. Meanwhile you were standing at the entrance that was placed inside of Kisuke's shop.

Casually checking the time on your phone, "I hope I'm not late." You say, double checking your bag. Obliviously unaware that your soulmates were literally racing to see you, "You fucking cheated."Kenpachi yells, trailing behind Byakuya. "You should be faster than that old man." Byakuya responds.

Kenpachi growls removing his sword from its hilt, "Fight me. Right now." Byakuya only smirks as he sees the entrance in the distance, but Kenpachi is only a few meters from him. "Gotcha." He whispers. His fingers inches away from grabbing Byakuya by the collar only for the giant man to trip over his oversized feet.

Crashing right into Byakuya sending them tumbling through the portal, "Dumbass look what you made me do." Kenpachi yelled. Suddenly the duo appeared right in front of you laying on the ground recovering from their tumble. "What happened to the two of you?" You questioned.

Byakuya stood to his full height, "Nothing just a dispute that ended with me winning. Can I take your bag?" He says, extending a hand out. "Lying son of a bitch, you did not win." Kenpachi argued. You stood there as your mind started to piece together what happened, "You two were racing to come get me, weren't you?"

The men went silent, "No." They quickly say. Your eyes narrow at their response, "Yes." They say in defeat. You huff in frustration, "You guys promised you would try to get along." You say, handing Byakuya your bag. You walked over to the portal, "Lets just go before the both of you release enough Spiritual Pressure to make me pass out."

"Look at what you did now she's upset." Byakuya says following behind you. Kenpachi speedwalked beside Byakuya holding an arm in front of him, "Your following me this time." Byakuya shoved his arm out of the way, "I will fall you from the front." Kenpachi returned the favor by shoving Byakuya, "Thats how you want to play it huh?"

Byakuya removed his sword from his hilt, "About time. Cmon fight me for her." Kenpachi yelled. Spirtual pressure erupted in Kisuke's shop while, you deeply sighed done with the moment, "I wonder what kind of shops they have out here."

"Where the hell is the kid?" Kenpachi questioned. Byakuya and Kenpachi were currently in the human world disappointed you couldn't stay in the Soul Society due to a mandatory exam. Byakuya checked his flip phone that his sister loaned him, "He said he's close."

Kenpachi stood over his shoulder still in his Shinigami form so he could avoid unnecessary humans that weren't you. "I don't know how you use that shit." He says, examining the phone. Byakuya's eyebrow twitched, "Will you please go get you gigai? The humans are thinking I am talking to myself." Byakuyas muttered, watching everyone's wondering eyes.

"I only do that when Y/N is around." Kenpachi retorts. "Your insufferable." Byakuya muttered. Before an argument could erupt Ichigo jogged up to the duo, "Your late." Byakuya deadpans. "Not by that much and besides it's hard lying to Y/N. It was like she was looking into my soul." Ichigo says, catching his breath.

"Whatever. Did you get her ring size or not?" Kenpachi asked. "Yup. Let's go." Ichigo says, stuffing his hands into his pockets walking away. Byakuya followed behind, "Wait a second kid. How'd you get the size without her noticing?" Kenpachi asked, hand holding onto the hilt of his sword. "Good question explain yourself." Byakuya adds.

Ichigo eyes grow wide as his mind raced with an excuse, Can't tell them that me and Y/N had sex the other day .. and I got her size while she was asleep. That was a good day too beside the whole Hollow thing.

His eyes darted around the street finally spotting a jewelry store, "Look its a store over there where we can get her ring." Ichigo speed walked in it's direction, "Sneaky bastard. They had sex thats how he got it." Byakuya says. "He's dead." Kenpachi adds.

"Ugh this is like the fifth store." Kenpachi groans. "And we will go to many more. My wife deserves the best." Byakuya says. The trio entered the store gaining the attention of the clerk, "Hi, how can I help you two?" She asked. Ichigo opened his mouth to answer but was cut off by Byakuya, "I'm looking for the biggest diamond you have. Money is no object."

The clerk was practically beaming thinking about the commission coming her way for selling the biggest ring they have. "Right this way gentlemen." The clerk says leading Byakuya to the rings. Ichigo sucks his teeth, "Show off." "He always does that shit even when were in the Soul Society." Kenpachi added.

The clerk pulls out a row of diamond rings each one encrusted with more diamonds than the next. Byakuyas eyes lit up once they laid upon a ring that held a diamond that appeared to be bigger than your finger. "What about this one?" He asked. Ichigo walked over, "Damn. Thats about the size of her finger."

The clerk gasps, "You have a great eye sir. This diamond is rare our retailer only sends us three of these a year." Kenpachi put hands onto Byakuya and Ichigo's shoulders, "Did she just say they have three of those?" "Yes, you imbecile now get off." Byakuya whispered, snatching his shoulder out of Kenpachi's hold.

"I'm sorry did you say something?" The clerk questions. "Yes we'll take all three rings." Ichigo says, with a smile on his face changing the subject. "Wait .. all three rings?" The clerk asks. "Yes all three." Byakuya enunciates.

He sticks his hand into his pocket pulling out an entire stack of bills, "Uh slow down Elon Musk." Ichigo says, halting Byakuya's movement. "I'm paying for my own ring." "I don't know what a Musk is but don't call me that." Byakuya retorts. "Yeah what the kid said. We don't need your blood money I have my own." Kenpachi adds.

Kenpachi reaches into the inside of his Captain's robe pulling out a solid gold brick, "Give this to the human so I can go see my woman." "They don't accept gold bricks as payment." Ichigo scolded. "Why not!? It's money just in a different form." Kenpachi retorts.

The duo began to argue while Byakuya tiredly rubbed the bridge of his nose. The clerk nervously laughed, "I'll just head to the back and wrap those precious rings up for you two or three I suppose." "Yes. Thank you. I apologize for my friends." Byakauya replies, while watching Ichigo and Kenpachi argue.
