Adventures of a Cat-Shark

First Phone

Sharko had finally saved up enough money to buy her first phone. She bought herself some necessities and just some other things (like hair brushes, certain food she liked, etc.). She also had to pay at least 1/4 to 1/2 the rent. She had to just save up extra money on the side. She normally saves 100-500 dollars per month.

Sharko had gotten an Android. She started setting it up and she finished kind of quickly. She was tired, as it was nighttime when she set up her phone, so she hopped in bed and slept. When she woke up she couldn't resist getting on it! She downloaded a few apps, and played on it for awhile before heading to work. It was Thursday and Tucker didn't work then, so she just took a taxi.

Sharko soon arrived at the gas station and went inside. She got situated and started working behind the register. Today her coworker, who also works behind the register, is Alice. Alice went by they/them pronouns and was pansexual. Alice is pretty chill overall, but they were always tired. When Sharko went inside Alice said, "What's up. Welcome back."
Sharko replied, "Hello." Today was kind've busy so far. Alice doesn't make a ton of small talk, but when they do they just ask questions. A customer asked Sharko if they had any pop rocks.
Sharko thought that that's a strange choice, but said, "Right in the candy isle, unless we're out. If you need anymore help you can ask."
The customer responded, "Thank you very much, miss." The customer soon found them and checked out.

The day was not really exciting, but she finally went home once it hit 4 pm. She took an uber back home. She got back and Tucker asked, "The job sucks, doesn't it?"
She responded, "It's dreadful!"
Tucker chuckled and said, "Haha, I hear you. Anyways, what's your number? I haven't got it saved on my phone."
Sharko replied, "It's *************"
"Thanks!" Exclaimed Tucker.
Sharko watched a show on tv, ate dinner, and then she went to bed. She was really tired today, but still could hardly fall asleep. She muttered, "Ugh.. Why can't I fall asleep.." After around 20 minutes she finally dozed off and went to bed.
