Part 14

*That Night*
Your POV

Tammy had gone home with Matt when he came to visit the guys, so I was curled up on the couch watching American Horror Story. Cam was in his room doing some sort of planning along with Hayes and Nash was tinkering around in the kitchen making some food or something. I got up and went out onto the balcony for some fresh air. It was nice at this time of night. That's what I loved about LA. The nights are so warm, especially now that summer's so close. I stared down to see passing cars and people walking home from dinners or just taking it all in, as was I. Looking at all the lights and the night sky, made me feel...free.
Soon after I grabbed a glass of cold water and went to bed with a smile on my face.

*In the Morning*

I woke up to the sound of footsteps going passed my room and down the stairs. I turned my phone on and checked any messages or notifications. I looked out the window to see it was yet again another beautiful day in Cali. I got up and went downstairs to get some breakfast, along with taking my laptop with me. I found Nash in the kitchen yet again. This kid was always where the food was.
"Morning," I said placing my laptop in the table.
"Morning," Nash replied turning around with a smile.
"Got any plans for today?" I asked getting something to eat.
"I think I might go get more food and go out for a bit. How about you?" He asked grabbing the milk for his cereal.
"I don't know. Maybe go for a skate to the beach and a swim," I replied.
"Sounds fun," he replied.
"Yeah haha," I said sitting down. I opened up my laptop and turned it on to add a few finishing touches to my videos to upload.
"Also, I think we're having a party slash get together tonight with all the guys coming so if there was anyone you wanted to come, you can invite them," Nash said sitting down opposite me.
"Can Tammy come? Cause she's like the only person I know," I replied looking up from the screen.
"I think she was already coming with Matt so yeah she can," Nash replied with a chuckle.
"Oh haha. Well that's good, I said.
"You guys really get along, huh?" Nash said.
"Yeah, we have a lot in common. Feels like we've known each other for ages," I replied.
"It's great having a friend like that, isn't it," Nash replied.
"Well I never really had friends. That's why I started home school. I just never really fit in," I replied looking down at my hands.
"Can I ask, why?" He asked looking really intrigued.
"Well, there was this girl, and she turned my only friend against me. Well she turned everyone against me. I was bullied, verbally and physically. But I got through it. It made me the person I am today," I replied trying to lighten up the mood. Nash kind of looked at me in disbelief.
"Earth to Nash," I said waving my hand in front of his face.
"Oh sorry. I'm so sorry about that," he said sympathetically.
"Well it's over now. I mean, life couldn't get any better to be honest. I'm loving it out here. I wouldn't choose any other life," I replied looking out the window.
"I'm glad to hear that," he replied cracking a smile.
"Oh also, do you know the Dolan twins?" I asked Nash.
"Yeah I do. Whys that?" He asked.
"Well Tammy and I hung out with them yesterday at the beach and seem like really cool guys. Do you think they could come tonight as well?" I asked a little unsure.
"Of course. The more the merrier," he replied.
"Haha thanks," I said.
I went up to Hayes' room to see if he was awake. Sure enough he was on his phone so I went and laid down next to him.
"Is that thing like glued to your hand?" I asked with sarcasm.
"Ha ha. Very funny," he also replied with sarcasm.
"What's say we do something today?" I asked.
"And that would be?" Hayes asked.
"I was thinking we go to the beach. It's really nice out," I suggested.
"Just us two?" He asked looking over at me with a smile.
"Just us two," I repeated.
"Sounds like a plan," He said giving me a kiss. The heat rose to my cheeks.
"Well I'm gonna go get ready. Dig out your penny board," I added at the end.
"Okay. Bye beautiful," he said getting up and hugging me.
"I'll be in the next room," I giggled into his chest.
"I'll still miss you," he replied with a puppy dog face.
"Haha you're a loser," I replied walking out the door.
"Correction, your loser," he said.
I put my black Triangl bikini on with my high waisted shorts over the top and a kimono. The shorts were really high so I didn't necessarily need a top. Plus it was really hot today. I put on some black flip flops that had a heel strap on also. I left my hair down in its natural waves and washed my face. I grabbed my phone and my backpack which had a towel and some money in it and waited downstairs.
"Hey, where are you off to," Cam asked sitting down.
"Morning to you too," I said joining him.
"Very funny, but for real," he said with a slight giggle.
"I'm going to the beach with Hayes. Is that okay?" I replied.
"Yeah it's perfectly fine. So Nash told you about the party tonight?" Cam asked.
"Yeah he did. I'm pretty excited to meet more people," I replied.
"Yeah it'll be great. Also one of the guys, Sammy, he has a little sister also that's your age," he said.
"Does no one have brothers," I said laughing.
"Haha it seems like everyone has a little sister doesn't it," Cam replied.
"It surely does," I said. When Hayes came down I said bye to Nash and Cam.
"Be home before 3. We have to do some things," Cam said as we were walking out the door.
"Sure thing," I replied with a thumbs up. We got outside when Hayes asked if we wanted a race.
"Do you want me to go easy on you?" I asked with a smirk.
"Nah. You'll loose anyway," Hayes replied.
"We'll see about that," I replied. And with that said, we were off.
So obviously I won, just. I laid my towel down on the sand along with my bag. I took off my shoes, kimono and my shorts and put them in my bag. I laid on my stomach, on the towel for a bit and attempted to try get a tan. Hayes was laying beside me leaning on his arms. I soon got too hot and got up.
"You coming or what?" I asked cracking a smile. Hayes immediately smiled back and stood up. We started walking down to the water when Hayes picked me up bridal style and started running into the ocean.
"Hayes! Put me down!" I screamed while laughing and kicking my legs. We were in the water now.
"Okay," he said with a cheeky smirk on his face when he dropped into the warm water. I came up for air and there was Hayes laughing his head off. I jumped on his back and eventually pushed him under also. Now it was my turn to laugh. This basically ended up in us having a water fight.
"Okay okay I surrender!" I yelled swallowing a mouth full of water.
"Victory!" Hayes yelled with him arms in the air. I couldn't help but laugh. He was so adorable. We laid on the beach for the rest of our time there just talking. It was the most random stuff, but it was fine when I was with him. We got home at about 2 and I went and dropped my bag in my room and had a shower. Cam said people were going to start arriving at about 3-4 so I was in no rush. I got out of the shower and put on a regular baseball tee and some plain black shorts. I just put some socks on because shoes weren't necessary. I went downstairs and sat on the couch with my phone. Cam, Nash and Hayes were all setting out some food and drinks on the table. So guess where my seating spot moved to.
There was a knock at the door and in came two tall guys and a girl with brown hair. One of the guys was covered in tattoos.
"Ayee," Cam said greeting them.
"Hey buddy," the one with the tattoos said.
"Long time so see bro," the other guy said. Nash went to say hello as well. The girl seemed a little shy. I'm guessing she was one of their sisters.
"Hey Dani, this is Nate and Sammy," Cam said motioning for me to come say hi. I got up and walked towards them.
"Hey," I said handing them both drinks.
"Hey, it's so good to finally meet you," Sammy said.
"Oh and this is my little sister, Bailey," he said pointing to her.
"Hey, wanna come sit down?" I asked.
"Sure," she said with a smile. We went and sat down at the table and I introduced myself.
"If you didn't already catch on, my names Dani," I said sitting down.
"Haha nice to meet you. So Cameron's your brother?" She asked.
"Yeah he is," I replied with a smile.
"Oh that's cool," she said.
"Yeah haha," I replied eating a chip.

People after people kept arriving. Tammy had already arrived also so Bailey, Tammy and I were all talking when someone that I me hoped to see again walked in.
