Dani's POV

I covered my mouth and instantly stood up to wrap my arms around my mom.
"You're here?" I said still in shock.
"Of course I am honey. I couldn't miss your birthday, could I?" She replied, inducing me into one of her bear hugs.
"I take it you love your present?" Cameron said coming up and joining the hug.
"How could I not love it?" I replied with the biggest smile on my face.
"Sierra's coming a little later on, she had to do some things before she could come," Cameron said.
"I feel a little left out of this group hug so I'm gonna join in," I heard Nash say, ten wrapping his arms around us. Soon Hayes joined in and we were like one ball of happiness.

We all let go and sat in the living room.
"So what do you wanna do today Dani?" Mom asked.
"I actually don't mind at all. I mean, we could go get Froyo," I said making a sarcastic suggestion.
"Sounds good," Nash said.
"We could go to the beach after if you want," Cam said.
"Perfect," I said getting up. "I'm gonna go get dressed then."

I ran up the stairs, excited about the day to come. It was another beautiful, sun-shining day in L.A.

I beat Hayes to the bathroom, again (score! He takes so long doing his hair.) I washed my face, brushed my hair and left it in its natural loose curl.
I went to my closet and picked out my favourite black Triangl bikini, a grey loose singlet, dark maroon shorts and my low top white Converse. I grabbed my black cross-body bag and put my black sunglasses in it, along with some money. I put the necklace on that Hayes gave me also.

I skipped down the stairs to find mom on her phone on the couch.

"Hey mama bear," I said plopping down next to her.
"Hey hun," she replied putting her phone down. "How are you 15 already?"
"Well I was born 15 years ago unless your lying about how old I am," I replied which made her laugh.
"No, I'm not lying about your age. Okay, but you and Hayes?" She suddenly said.
"Oh yeah, what about us?" I replied.
"You guys are cute," she said with a little smile, obviously trying not to laugh at what she said.
"Hahaha so you're not going to be the over-protective mother?" I asked.
"Why would I be the over-protective mother when you have and older brother and sister - which can be very daunting might I add and I know if her hurts you that you'll most likely you'd something about it. So I'm just gonna be the chill mother that's fine with it," she replied, very in depth.
"And this is why I love you," I replied, resting my head on her shoulder. "You know all of us too well."
"Well as your mom I am entitled to know everything about you guys," she replied.

Soon, all the guys came down the stairs at once.
"Took you long enough," I said with exaggeration.
"We gots to look good," Cameron said, jumping off the last stair while saying "good".
"Mhm. Well shall we go now?" I asked getting up.
"I think we shall," Hayes added.
"Let's shall," Nash also added.
"SHELL!" Cameron yelled as he picked up a shell of the table.
"He's a special child," mom said quietly so he couldn't hear. The rest of us started laughing.
I grabbed my new board Nash got me and put my sunglasses on my head.

When we got out of the building, I put my sunglasses on and hoped on my board and went to town (the saying, not like the legit town XD.)

"Hmmmmmm I wonder who got you the awesome penny board Dani," Nash said sarcastically. I decided to go along with it.
"Yeah it was some guy called Nash. I think that you guys would get along really well," I replied.
"Yeah he sounds like a great guy. You need to introduce him to me some time," he said.
"Will do," I replied.

I heard my phone go off so I started walking instead of boarding.
