The morning has finally arrived, as the sky has gone up significantly. Moon Ryeong and Smith have just entered the car, preparing to depart on the vampire's first attempt to walk during the day. All of the servants form a line to say their goodbyes to the mistress. Except for one, everyone's attention is drawn to the lovely lady.

When the car leaves, Areum looks towards Helios' private room, where she sees the vampire watching Moon Ryeong's departure with unspoken trouble in his eyes. Areum carefully observes the handsome vampire's face, noticing a sadness in him. Helios appears to be unable to let Moon Ryeong go easily, but he has forced himself to do so. He tries hard to keep his possessiveness towards her under control. Helios finally took a step back and vanished in his room after the car disappeared completely.

Areum, on the other hand, experiences mixed emotions as she observes his sorrowful eyes. She must admit to herself that she has never seen anyone with such a perfect handsome face as him. She can't get his handsome face out of her head since the first time she saw him in Moon Ryeong's room. But there's something else about him that piques her interest. She wants to learn more about him and, if possible, become one of the possibilities that can alleviate his sadness and loneliness. As a result, she makes a decision.

Nobody notices when the young maid walks upstairs with a tray of food in her hand. Even though Moon Ryeong had warned her and everyone else not to go upstairs, Areum chose to disregard the warning and follow her curiosity. She's always wondered why the master and mistress of the mansion never eat during the day and never show their faces to anyone else. Why should the master of the mansion stay alone in his dark room when he can have everything ready for him with a large number of servants to properly serve him? She is very curious.

After some time, Areum arrives at Helios' room. She takes a deep breath before approaching the door and knocking. She is unsure whether her decision to confront the master of the mansion in this manner will result in her death or not. She is terrified of getting in trouble and receiving a harsh punishment because of her curiosity. Her inquisitiveness, however, got the best of her. In a short time, the door slowly opened, and Helios appeared, looking at her with confusion.

The maid is taken aback by his attractive face. She can't say anything when his round dark yet clear deep gaze is staring at her from such a close distance. She can only blink her eyes several times while holding her breath.

"I believe no one is permitted to go upstairs." Helios' deep voice echoed in her ears, further hypnotizing the young maid. For her, everything about him appears to be an illusion. Helios frowned as the maid froze in her place. He notices a tray in her hand but is perplexed as to why she would take such a risk to visit his room.

"Can't you hear what I'm saying?" His threatening tone forced the maid to snap out of it and return to reality.

"I apologize, sir. I can hear you "She finally spoke up, lowering her gaze. She had been staring at his face for quite some time. It makes her feel embarrassed. Her cheecks turn pink as she blushes in shyness.

Helios is aware that his appearance has hypnotized the maid. When he realized this, he laughed to himself. It is not the first time he has discovered a lot of girls of women who are mesmerized by his handsomeness, even though the end result is only horror in their eyes when they realize his real nature. He hadn't seen this kind of expression in a long time. This maid appears to be smitten by his stunning appearance.

"Why are you here?" he asks again, his face cold.

"I've brought your meal, sir. I know... you don't eat during the day. But I believe that today is different. When the lady left, I noticed your expression. And I understand that you may be alone in your room. I assume you are lonely and want to eat something. As a result, I prepare a suitable meal for you. I don't want you to become ill "Areum attempts to justify and explain her bizarre visit.

"Just be frank with me, woman. You want to keep me company while Moon Ryeong is away. Isn't that what you're really saying?" Helios' expression is stoic and serious as he asks her that question. His gaze is piercing as he attempts to read her inner thoughts; Areum has the impression that if she tells a lie, he will catch her right away.

"Yes, sir," she says clearly. She lowered her gaze even more.

"Hahahahahahaha.... " Helios' laughter fills the air; he is having a great time in this situation.

"How dare you," he finally says, finally able to stop laughing. Areum feels as if the world around her is collapsing. She's in big trouble right now. How bold of her to make this move and speak to him in this manner. She is now terrified because she thought it was the end of her life.

"What exactly are you doing out there? If you want to keep me company, shouldn't you enter my room?" With a cold expression on his face, the great vampire invites the maid to his room.

"...ye...yes?" Areum finds it difficult to respond.

"Come inside," he commands firmly. She swallows her saliva and walks slowly into the dark room. The door would soon be shut, and no one would ever know what happened inside.
