"I'm sorry, what? Stray Kids? Mafia? What are you guys talking about? Is this some kind of joke?" Hyunjin asked.

All of them stared at him with confusion and worry. All of them but Han. Han rushed out the room without looking back. Why couldn't Hyunjin remember? Why couldn't he remember his own mafia group? Why couldn't he remember his partners in crime?

The 6 of them stood there in awkward silence while observing the blonde haired man on the hospital bed. They all knew Han suffered tremendously when Hyunjin was at the hospital. Jisung spent countless of days and nights by Hyunjin's side, but now, their Hyunjin was long gone. Seconds felt like years in that room. It felt so suffocating just standing there. Though, not long after, a group of nurses and a lead doctor came rushing into the room.

"Hello, Mr. Hwang. I'm Dr. Park, the lead doctor here in this department. How are you feeling right now? Is everything to your comfortable level?" Dr. Park asked.

"Uhm... Yeah, everything is just fine..." Hyunjin mumbled.

"Dr. Park?" A man with snow white hair and a cut above of his eyebrow called out.

"Yes, Mr. Bang?"

"I believe Hyunjin had lost his memory after his litte um... accident." The white haired man said.

"Ah... Well, it's not really a surprise since he accumulated multiple injuries on different areas of his body, including his head." The lead doctor said while scribbling and reading off some information on his clipboard.

"Will his memory ever come back?" A man with feline features asked.

"From what we know right now, probably not. He fractured some bones in his skull and definitely damaged the memory storing part of his brain." The doctor said.

He asked Hyunjin a few more questions before checking his heart rate and blood pressure. Soon after, the doctor excused himself from the room, with the group of nurses following behind. The blonde man looked around and waited a few more moments before he decided to speak up.

"I'm sorry I can't remember your names or who you guys are... It seems like you guys were really close to me. I'm so sorry." He said.

All of them looked at him like they were on the verge of tears.

"Hyunjin, I was wondering... Since your mom and dad are living in the states right now, would you be okay with living with us? I know you can't remember who we are, and you probably don't trust us, but if you really don't want to, we could always buy you your own home if you want. Whatever works best for you." said "Mr Bang".

"I'll be fine with the established living arrangements, please don't trouble yourself because of me." The blonde said with a small smile on his face.

A few weeks went by, and Hyunjin finally got discharged from the hospital. Although, during those weeks before being discharged, Hyunjin learned a lot about the 7 other boys, and even himself before he lost all those precious memories.

The group of boys, excluding Han, escorted Hyunjin out of his hospital bed and into the rather expensive looking black van. The drive wasn't too long, though at some point, Hyunjin must've fallen sleep because once his eyes fluttered open, he was no longer in the car. Instead, he was laying on a king sized bed, limbs stretching across the whole mattress.

After a few groans and mental persuasion, he decided to explore his surroundings. After what seemed like years in a hospital bed, he wanted to be productive for once. He rolled out of bed, and set his feet onto the cold marbled floor. He started with the night stands right next to the large bed. He opened a few drawers starting from the bottom. Honestly, nothing was really in any of the compartments, until he reached the top one on the left side of his bed. There, rested a handgun, along side some chapstick and a small journal.

He was quick to close the small drawer. With a nervous expression on his face, he thought, 'Well, Chan did mention that all of us were part of the mafia... Why was I so surprised?'

He took some deep breathes before sitting back on the bed. He was about to go back to sleep but suddenly a rumbling sound came from his very hungry stomach. He pouted, and got out of bed to find something to eat. As he opened the door, he poked his head out to scout the area.

It was quiet. A little too quiet. It probably meant that no one was home, or asleep. He decided to take small baby steps while trying to find the kitchen, just in case someone caught him. Although, as he was about to go down the stairs, someone pinned him to the wall.

It was dark, so Hyunjin couldn't identify who the person was. The blonde man was about to scream out the top of his lungs, but the mysterious person probably caught on and crashed their lips on Hyunjin's.
