Guerilla Marketing: A Chance for Smaller Entrepreneurs

A Proposal

Abstract

As an aspiring entrepreneur I find that many of the larger known companies had been using guerilla marketing before and after having been known. The term guerilla marketing had been invented by Jay Conrad Levinson in 1984, but the tactics had been used for much longer than that. To most people the tactics for guerilla marketing seems inconvenient, aggressive or even expensive. The people who risked doing the marketing realized the risks were meant to be taken because it had helped get their business to become better known. Even though the pricing of doing guerrilla marketing tactics may scare many away using it would bring in more beneficial profits from it than not and could help make a business larger. The point in guerrilla marketing is to attract customers to a business or product. With more people coming and using the product or business the more people to use the product or come to the business. Guerrilla marketing can be anywhere to small coupons and sales to massive billboards and commercials. In the end using Guerrilla marketing can bring in and help a business succeed. That is why smaller entrepreneurs should start to look at using these tactics instead of being scared away from them and be able to bring their business or product up and become known.
