NO1's POV

This was just fucking great.

As if having blue fingers and his legs falling numb for two seconds with every step was enough. But trying to push through layers of packed snow which reach up to you fucking belly button is the cherry on top, and Bakugou's temper was thinning out.

The snow falling from the sky was still raging harshly which made it unable for the two to see past 5 meters in front of him.

Him and a bunch of other heroes were investigating a possible trace on a bomb planting in the surrounding areas on the mountains. They had all split up into groups to cover more area and Bakugou was one of the heroes close to the summit.

He initially protested stating that his quirk won't even work properly at those temperatures, but apparently his tactical skills are "viTaL fOr uPmOsT cHAncE oF suCCesS." Just a bunch of bullshit.

But only after a bit of searching, the said bomb set off, much higher on the mountain than expected. Luckily the villain was too dumb to realize that it wouldn't really affect the actual city and just stay on the mountain. The consequences though, tons and tons of fucking snow began sliding down the mountain straight towards the closest group.

Some were able to escape with the aid of their quirk, and Bakugou would've been able too as well, but with his fucking fingers turning into popsicles meant that he definitely wasn't able to.

He was just going to accept his fate and find out a way to get out after the commotion, but suddenly he was being grabbed by the torso and yanked backwards forcefully.

He couldn't even see the random person but all he could tell was that they were very strong.

Where they were headed, hell knows. But all he did know was that snow was coming and it coming fast.

Just then, they were entering a dark cave and the last thing Bakugou saw was a wall of white cover the light and fill into the cave.

Bakugou, who's eyes lashes had icicles, coughed as he was laid on the ground. His body wouldn't stop shivering even with his layers or clothing he was allowed to put on.

Bakugou came back to reality when he heard the chanting of his name

"Kacchan!..Kacchan are you awake!? Please wake up!" He heard them yell, but it was slightly muffled by his hood.

His eyes peeled open and his vision cleared more by the second. It didn't take long for him to recognize those green luminescent eyes looking down at him.

"..Deku?" Bakugou said with a hoarse voice, the cold had dried up his throat so much that it hurt.

Deku sighed in relief, he was alive, he didn't realize how much the cold could affect Bakugou. He knew that his quirk depended on high temperatures to work efficiently, but this is really bad, it's almost his entire body can't even function in any type of cold weather.
