"I noticed they didnt see me when Dwight's hand went up Lois' shirt. I quickly turned around and left through the back door. I closed the door before realizing my mistake."

Shit. I forgot about the backyard. I groaned, not wanting to go back inside. I sighed, realizing I had to go through the tall weeds and God knows what else. I walked through the grass and weeds that reached to my stomach. I grumbled, pushing them out of my way. This is so stupid!

Why couldn't he have done it himself? Oh, right, I forgot he's a lazy son of a bitch. I got to the back fence and huffed in anger. And I have school tomorrow, damn it. I growled, reaching for the latch. I jerked the hook but it didn't budge.

"Don't you dare. " I seethed, yanking again. I tried again and again. It didn't move. "Asshole gate." I kicked the wood and glared hard at it. Not that it will do any good.

I groaned again. "I just want sleep!" I grabbed the top of the fence, stepped on the big boulder, and pulled myself up. I sung my leg over the edge and let gravity do its job. I fell to the ground,  hearing a ripping sound.

I sat up and examined my clothes. A big rip in my pant leg. Just great. I huffed and stood up, groaning. "Note to self: Don't fall off fences." I started my walk to the store and listened to P!ATD.

When the 24 hour Corner Market came into view, I paused my song and hid my ear buds in my pouch pocket. A bell chimed as I opened the door and walked to the refrigerators. Opening one of the doors, I started grabbing the random crap Dwight needed.

As I set the stuff on the counter, the worker guy gave me a weird look. He had dull short brown hair and pale green eyes. He was maybe around twenty two. Tall, lanky, and pale. He was honestly creepy and sickly.

Looking down at my items, I realized I forgot milk. "Where's the milk?" I asked clearing my throat. He didn't look up, but pointed to the right corner. My eyes followed his bony finger to the fridge. I quickly grabbed the biggest jug they had and hurried back to the counter. He wiped his sweaty forehead with sleeve.

He scanned the milk. "Your total is $31.94." He rasped. His voice was scratchy and hoarse. I shook my head and grabbed my wallet, careful not to let him see inside, I pulled out the cash and handed it to him as he started coughing.

"Are you okay?" He nodded but started coughing harder. Each cough seemed to hurt his body, causing him to hunch over. "Are you sure? I can call a doctor. " I offered. I didn't want him to die but I also don't want him near me.

He shook his head, coughing. A chocking noise came from him. Suddenly, he stopped coughing and pulled his hand from his mouth.  I gasped, seeing the blood on it. "Oops." He whispered.

I grabbed my bags and left quickly. Now that, was fucking weird. I shook my head and carefully put my ear buds in and pushed play. Sleeping With Sirens started to pump in my ears.

I started walking the way I came but stopped short. I don't wanna go through the backyard again, plus I don't have a key to the backdoor. I groaned at the thought of walking through that again. I turned left into the forest. Don't worry; I'm not going too deep. Plus, I'll only be in there for five minutes, tops!
