This takes place six weeks later
Leah was laying in bed when she suddenly felt the urge to run to the bathroom. She threw up in the toilet. After washing her face she looked in the mirror. This had been going on for weeks now. It wasn't just the vomiting. She was so tired lately, she had fallen asleep during a meeting. She was also finding herself getting cold a lot. Leah was still looking in the mirror when there was a knock on the door. "Leah are you alright Darling?" Loki asked with concern in his voice. She opened the door. "I'm ok." She said. Loki looked at Leah and put his hand against her face.
"Darling you have been sick for a while now." Loki said. "I'm sure it's nothing." Leah said. "I just need to take it easy." She said. The next few mornings Leah, once again, found herself in the bathroom. After the third time, Loki had enough. "Darling please go to the healers and find out what's wrong." "I told you, I'm fine." Leah said stubbornly. Loki shook his head.
The next day, Leah was in the sitting room when Loki walked in. "Darling, I have to talk to you." Loki said. "Is everything OK?" she asked. "Well there is some conflict on Vanaheim and I need to go address it." He said. Leah looked worried. "Of course. Do you need me to go with you?" She asked. "No, I can take care everything myself. You just get better." Loki told her. Loki and Leah walked into the conservatory. Loki and Leah kissed goodbye and Hemidall opened the bifrost sending Loki to Vanaheim.
After Loki was gone, Leah noticed Hemidall looking at her. "What?" she asked. "Nothing, my lady." Hemidall said.
Leah was asleep when she suddenly woke up with hard stomach pains. She went to wake Loki up, then remembered he was still on the mission in Vanaheim. Leah lifted up her nightgown and saw that her stomach had turned completely blue. "ROSYLAN!" Leah screamed. "Rosylan, help!" Leah yelled louder. Suddenly, Rosylan came running into the room.
"Madam, is everything alright?" She asked. She noticed the look of fear on Leah's face. "Rosylan, what is happening to me?" Leah asked. She showed Rosylan her stomach. Rosylan looked at Leah with Concern. "Ma'am I'm going to go get the healers." Rosylan said and ran to the healing room.
Leah laid down on the bed holding her stomach and crying. "Loki, I need you, please return to me. I'm so scared!" she cried out.
Rosalyn returned with the healers. They took a look at Leah. "Madam, may we please see your stomach?" One of them asked. Leah slowly turned over on her back and lifted her nightgown. The healers looked at each other with concern. "What is it?" Leah asked with worry in her voice. "Nothing madam. We need to take you to the healing room and make sure everything is alright." The healer said. They helped Leah up and took her to the healing room. Leah laid down on the magical table as the healers moved their hands around her body.
When their hands went over Leah's stomach, they looked at each other and smiled. "What is it? Why are smiling?" Leah asked angrily. "Madam, just out of curiosity, what other symptoms have you had?" The healer asked. "Um throwing up in the morning, I'm tired a lot, and I can't seem to stay warm. I'm always cold." Leah said.
The healers, once again, looked at each other and smiled. "What is going on?" Leah asked, more demanding. "Madam, you're pregnant." The healer said. "I'm WHAT?!?" Leah yelled.
"Pregnant madam." The healer said again. Leah sat up "No, I'm not. I can't be." Leah said. "I mean, I just had a period." Leah suddenly didn't remember when her last menstrual cycle was. "Madam, I don't mean to pry, but when was the last time you and King Loki were intimate?" The healer asked. "During the Asgardian Ball. About six weeks ago." Leah said. "Madam you're about six weeks pregnant." The healer said. "But wait. I can understand the morning sickness and being tired." Leah said. "But being cold and the blue belly aren't exactly normal pregnancy symptoms." She said. "Madam, the baby is half Frost Giant" The healer told her. "Yeah, but Loki was raised by Asgardians." Leah said. "He was, but he still has Frost Giant blood." The healer told her.
Leah was walking back to the bed chambers. Her mind was swimming with so many thoughts, when she heard Hemidall say "The King has returned."
