THIRD PERSON,
The hallway was lined with blue lockers that were covered in scratches and dents. He tried reading some of the engravings people had carved into their lockers but some people's handwriting just looked like chicken scratch.
There was the odd (insert name) was here or couples carving their initials together and putting love hearts around it.
Naturally, there was also a bunch of dicks either carved in or drawn on. There was also one vagina drawn onto a locker, Jungkook was fine with that, he supported gender equality.
He passed Taehyung's locker on the way. It was pristine; no bumps, no dents, no dicks. The locker had been beaten up like the others before, but Jungkook had witnessed Taehyung spending time getting rid of the dents and painting over scratches.
The guy had way too much time on his hands if he could be bothered to fix the appearance of his locker. Only assholes cared about the appearance of their lockers.
He hated Taehyung for the Irene incident. He really hated him. Everyone believed that he was some sort of Saint that could do no wrong but Jungkook had learned first hand that that wasn't true. He was an inconsiderate asshole who never thought about other people's feelings.
So why did Jungkook do that with him in the showers this morning. Was it some sort of revenge? Revenge. That could be it. Make the heartbreaker the heartbroken? Taehyung had never thought about Jungkook's feelings before, maybe it's time he did the same?
His scheming was interrupted as he walked full force into someone else whilst rounding the corner. At first, he thought he'd slammed into a moving brick wall, but it turned out to be a walking pile of textbooks that all fell onto Jungkook in a cruel twist of fate. Fate wasn't done being a bitch yet though and one of said textbooks found its way under Jungkook's foot and he fell on his ass.
He looked up to the person and grimaced. "You're not going to apologise for bumping into me, dickhead?"
Taehyung just stared down at him with his perfect sky blue eyes. All of a sudden, Jungkook had found a new hatred for the sky.
"..sorry" He continued to stare like he was under some sort of hypnosis. It was strange to say but Jungkook almost felt naked under his intense gaze.
Eventually Taehyung broke out of it. "Hold up. You're the one who wasn't looking where you were going. You should apologise to me."
"Fuck off" Jungkook tried to stand, but ended up slipping on another textbook. Mathematics Expanded Edition, you just made yourself a new enemy.
"Do you need a hand?" Taehyung stretched a hand out to help Jungkook up but he just swatted it away like it was an irritating mosquito.
"I don't need help from you. I'm perfectly capable." He stood up and tried not to wince from the pain of his ass, never breaking eye contact with Taehyung as he did.
Taehyung really did have nice eyes, if Jungkook was to look at them objectively. It caused him to remember this morning, embarrassingly enough.
The guy really liked eye contact. Heat rose to his cheeks, he began to pick up the textbooks so that Taehyung couldn't see his face. He couldn't show weakness to the enemy.
"Oh... thanks.." Taehyung said. His tone gave away how genuinely shocked he was that Jungkook was helping him.
"I can be nice when I want to be." Kill him with kindness. "Is that what this morning was? Being nice?"
Jungkook dropped the textbooks again in surprise. How could he just bring it up so easily? Has he no shame. Of course he doesn't feel ashamed of it, Jungkook thought, he's a fuck-boy, I bet he's used to doing things like that.
