But it's not time for Runeas to wake up, is it? Well, it didn't detail when she woke up, just that she did and then requested all of the Gremory family to gather. I also didn't expect to be requested too.

"Is it a request?"

"Yes, in a way."

I nod.

"Around what time will we be leaving?"

"From noon and onwards, we will be skipping classes that go past that time. I have already informed Sona, so we don't need to worry about that."

Rias explains. I see, well, so much for me getting a day to relax. Unless this is a day to relax, which I doubt. Though, I did kind of hint that maybe more of the originals might be still alive. They may have been hiding from Devil society for one reason or another. I told them all of that during our fifteen years in the [Pocket Dimension].

"Ah— Rossweisse will also be coming with you. I don't think she will take no for an answer, Jin. She did get quite excited during school today..."

"Alright, Rias. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll go speak with her, but first... I'll take Latia home."

I wink at her and she nods. As we were about to teleport to the Astaroth territory—

"I'm glad you could join us, Latia."

Rias said those words, making the female devil beside me turn red.

Astaroth Territory

"I apologize for the unpleasant experience in the Greek realm, Latia. But I did kind of expect them to try to get Medusa back, although I didn't think they would do it so soon."

Latia shakes her head.

"It's fine, Jin. We did get to explore a little bit, although it was short, I enjoyed myself... A-Also, I, well, you know..."

Latia starts to blush and turns her head away. I chuckle and step closer to her. This makes her head snap back towards me. I lean down and capture her lips again; we share a small and quick kiss. When I stopped, she didn't try to hide her dissatisfaction as she frowned at me.

I smirk at her but kiss her again. We repeat this for a few minutes, until—

"Ah. Forgive my interruption. I did not think I would find you two here."

I hear a familiar voice behind me. When Latia and I separated from our kiss again, we look back behind me to see Ajuka Beelzebub. Of course, Latia immediately turns even redder, causing Ajuka to laugh at his niece.

"U-U-Uncle...?! W-What might you be here for...?"

Latia stutters out a question, and Ajuka nods.

"Mmm. I was feeling a bit nostalgic. This feeling is quite rare for me to feel, so I decided to take a small stroll around our family's territory. I didn't think I would come across both of you like that, however, some congratulations seem appropriate."

He explains himself while nodding at us.

"I-I see, I-I will be going ahead then, Uncle. Jin, good night..."

"Good night, Latia."

Latia walks away while Ajuka and I watch her. I sigh and turn to the Devil.

"You just had to appear now, didn't you?"
