It's been a while since that call with Diego. Monica opened a flower shop and placed you as co-owner, the shop has been getting so much love from the eco-friendly type of business Monica has implemented. it's been 1.5 months since you stopped your addictions your body has been thanking you a lot more. You have been eating and making food that you and Monica enjoyed, adding to that Monica went vegan... for a bit, she wanted to see how it would impact her and her body.
As you were trimming some of the flower bushes and placing price tags you heard a familiar voice.
"smells so lovely in here"
"Kevin?" you question "why are you here?"
"Monica invited us" you heard a voice coming from behind him
"... Diego?"
"hola Estrellita"
Packing up your little station you go to the counter and ring Monica from the phone at work
"Monica, get in the shop now," you say as soon as she picks up not giving her a moment to greet you.
After waiting a few minutes the boys step behind the counter so you can assist some customers, they helped too with scanning and placing other things in paper bags that weren't flowers or any other plants.
"I'm here what was the rush about..." Monica paused "...Kevin you came, I never really thought that you'd come" Monica rushed to Kevin's arms
"Woah Woah Woah what the fuck is going on here and why haven't I been told shit?" you questioned
"yeah same goes for me too" Diego adds
"This is something we should talk about over lunch, I got 4 people coming in at 12" Monica throws out there.

At 12 Monica wishes well on the employees as you walk out first with Diego at your side
"what, how was France?" you manage to get out while kicking a few rocks
"it was amazing, I would love to see you in the glistening lights in Paris you'd look amazing" he answered sheepishly
"I don't know if you're joking or flirting with me here?"
"flirting.." he whispers
"alright guys we are good to go" Kevin exclaims walking to his car and opening the passenger door for Monica
"if y'all fucking just say that," you say with a playful attitude opening the back door for Diego.
"..."
"NAH SHUT UP"

"wait so you asked her to be your girlfriend over the PHONE? and you've kept this from ME!? I can't believe you" you say sarcastically
"me neither Kevin.." Diego says in a disappointing tone
"when are you guys going to tell the world?" you question taking a few sips of your wine
"well when we get more serious" Kevin answers placing his hand on Monica's
The rest of the dinner is mostly quiet besides the few conversations that were brought up
"wait Estrella how's the quitting going?" Diego asked while Kevin and Monica were talking about who knows what
"well" you start placing your fork down it's been a month and a half, and I still get random cravings but I manage, living with Monica really opened a door I never knew was there...you know?" you stare at him god you missed this feeling
"after dinner want to hang out, just us since I think they'll do other things?" Diego offered
"I would love that"
