Aadiya, Aadiya just like Sean had a messy break up with her previous ex Jacob. Jacob and Aadiya were in almost a 3 year old relationship which ended up pretty badly. Sean was Aadiya's comfort other than that it was also her bestfriend Brian. Brian and Aadiya have been friends since they were thirteen but their bond was a sibling-like bond. Aadiya was already dating someone else so Brian was always out of the picture just to know that Brian likes Aadiya too.
Sean who was already in a headspace to know that he was unlikable by everyone, knew that Aadiya would definitely choose Brian and not him. Sean always lifted his expectations towards Aadiya for her to just leave him without any expectations. There was a time that even Sean's friends asked him to backout from Aadiya. Sean never in his entire existence felt so disasappointed that to by his ownself.
Rather than backing off, Sean's feelings became toxic. He started ignoring, ghosting and mistreating Aadiya. Aadiya being clueless was unaware but still wanted to know about what was going on this time but he couldn't.
